I've bought three separate areas now and eventually you do get an email. I've suggested to them that they need to take the coms more seriously, last time took me two days for a reply but apparently the email was in his spam folder. May 13, 20251 yr Commercial Member Hello everyone. I'm glad to see all your comments. It's always good to have feedback so I can improve, and it's also a joy for those who like my work. As I mentioned before, I do this work alone, and sometimes it takes me a while to respond to messages due to the volume of emails I receive. But I try to respond as quickly as possible, also because of the time difference we have. I'm in Chile, and if you make purchases on other continents, there's a time difference of several hours. There are also cases where emails end up in SPAM, which slows down delivery because they either take longer to end up there or are simply deleted. But I've already corrected that so that as few emails as possible end up there. Now, regarding image colors, like Switzerland, for example, there may be similarities with other developers. I remind you that we use a database of multiple satellites, the processing is manual, and we try to match the colors as best as possible. Some countries have more natural colors than others, but we always seek to improve them. As I told you before, I will not abandon P3D for many more years. I will always be here to continue improving and updating all our work as much as possible. I would also like to mention that the V2 versions you have (Maps 2024, much more autogen, all seasons, and more improvements) will only be available in certain countries. You can always stay tuned for new updates on our Facebook page. We haven't released anything in the last few weeks due to personal health reasons and also due to a hard drive replacement, which has failed, but which I fixed a few days ago. I'm always willing to help everyone, always listening to possible product improvements. This is my only job right now, and I try to give everyone the best I can. Best regards, and if you have any additional questions, feel free to write to me via any means: Facebook, email, or if you'd like, you can ask me via WhatsApp. I'm happy to help anyone who needs it. Best regards to everyone, and I hope you enjoy my work. Fernando.
May 15, 20251 yr In re the discussion about scenery placement etc and how OC and Lorby manages scenery, I made an inquiry using PerplexityAI. This is what I got in response.BTW, the more I have been using this particular AI tool for all manner of inquiries, the more I like it “Compatibility of Lorby’s P3D Scenery Management Tool and ORBX Central Yes, Lorby’s P3D scenery management tool (Addon Organizer) and ORBX Central are compatible. • ORBX Central is designed to be compatible with Lorby Addon Manager, and there should be no issues using both tools together for managing scenery in Prepar3D. • However, if you use multiple scenery management tools, it is recommended to activate the “strict package law” in Lorby’s Addon Organizer to avoid compatibility problems. • When using both, pay attention to scenery layering and insertion points, as correct order is important for scenery to display properly. Summary: You can safely use Lorby’s Addon Organizer alongside ORBX Central, but always follow best practices for scenery management to prevent conflicts” After getting this answer I made several more inquiries to refine answers. The most important point have gleaned from this is to use Lorby’s “Srict packaging law” , a feature I was not aware of until my AI inquiry. if interested, check PERPLEXITYAI.COM completely free, at least so far, and no adverts. sherm
May 15, 20251 yr Author My limited knowldge of Lorby's Organiser is to sort out layering issues when I have airports underneath Landclass, so not appearing properly. What I would like to do is "turn on" and "turn off" FC Scenery and Orbx pretty easily when I want to. It looks like you can do that with FC Scenery in the P3D Addon Scenery section as they are installed with the Addon method. However this doesn't apply to Orbx due to the install method used. Rather than uninstalling Orbx products in Orbx Central, I note in the Lorby's Organiser there is a Discovery tab which I've never used. If I generate a Discovery path for every individual product i'm hoping to just have the LC regions unticked most of the time and just keep the Orbx airports "turned on". That way it will be pretty easy to just "turn on" an Orbx LC region if I need to. At least that's the plan, has anyone tried this or got any other suggestions. Ian S

Even if your Orbx scenery is installed through Orbx Central, it will work fine. The way I do it is to enable/disable Orbx scenery in the Packages tab of Lorby's tool. This is where you can enable/disable all add-ons that are installed using the xml installation method. Since FC Scenery is installed directly, you enable/disable that scenery in the Scenery tab. What may be helpful to you, if you want to streamline the process, is to create your own custom groups of scenery in the Groups tab. I should add that Lorby's Addon Organizer tool does come with a manual that you can find in it's installation folder. It's not the easiest tool to figure out if you're new to it so I recommend reading the manual when you can. Indeed, as I say I've only had cause to shuffle scenery layers up and down up until now to keep my airports on top the landclass, but I'll look into getting the most out of it as there are clearly several useful aspects to the tool.
