Drivers

Featured Replies

I'm updating regularly everytime a new driver is out, never had a problem often with better performance. Just 2 weeks ago there were bugged Nvidia drivers, but nothing serious.

Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).

I'm not aware of any current problem. Both my 2020 and 2024 are working perfectly. That's still on 560.94 and I'm seeing no reason to change this yet. I'm using TAA also as I can't see the difference that all these "youtoobers" are flashing around. I mostly fly at 38,000 ft not at 300 feet over Manhattan.

I'm still on 566.14 that was released for 2024's release and probably staying there for a bit.  I'd love to get the new DLSS 4.x features that are available for my 4090 but I've been watching the driver release threads in Nvidia's forum and every driver since this one and ESPECIALLY the drivers that came after the 5090 release have been getting slammed with issues about black screens and crashes in all kinds of games.  This new driver that just came out 24 hours ago already the driver feedback thread is as long as most of them take a week+ to get to and is mostly about game crashes and black screens either at install or later.

The horse and buggy weren't broke!

Used to, but no need to add another beta layer when things working as expected graphically.

Profile K gave me great quality but aweful performance even after I downgraded from DLLA to DLSS Quality, so I had to revert to profile E.

The video was a useful reminder to update my DLSS files and framegen mod files though.

On the cache removal front, I use Corstens tool which has two scripts, one for the Nvidia caches and one for the MSFS caches - much quicker and easier than finding them yourself:
