March 25, 20251 yr I would love a good C-130. Will be keeping an eye on how this progresses. Vote to fix transparent sun visors having no effect on the sun glare effect in MSFS at: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sun-shades-sun-visors-not-influencing-light-in-cockpit/691565/

And not only to Blackbird but all editors who make new plane and leave the MSFS 2020 versions as it is... Blackbird ARE working on them - the T-6A II just had a patch released a couple weeks ago at most, and has been getting a patch every month or so since release. The other ones work okay from one degree to another (it seems like the Corsair is the worst off being the oldest), but I just don't bother until they're patched to Compatible level. TBH I've been distracted with all the new (and generally very good) addons in the Aviators Edition and I'm only using v2020 addons when the dev marks them as Compatible. And there's a steady stream of other v2020 addons that are releasing as Compatible, so I have more than enough to keep me busy until the various BBS addons get updated. The other ones...? Well, v2020 is still running well and being updated, if it's a particular addon you want to fly. This is the reason I still fly in Prepar3D v5 periodically: the MilViz T-38C, the VRS SuperBug, and the Majestic Q400. Addons of that quality aren't available in MSFS, so I still fly them in P3D. (Tho I could switch to FJS' Q400 in XP as it's an excellent rendition. But as long as I "have to" keep Prepar3D (and it looks like that's going to be a long, long time if VRS and MilViz continue holding back on those two addons), I'm content to keep flying the Majestic in Prepar3D). And don't forget, the various BBS developers (AFAICT, BBS is more of a Publisher than a development company) are literally incentivized to get their addons updated for v2024. Because they have no income on those addons until they work in v2024 and people can start buying them again.

However, I do recall buying into the alpha (or was it beta, or maybe a pre-sale) on the Milviz King Air way back when and the unapologetic debacle that followed with that so I'm a little gun shy on this one. It’s either a dysfunctional dev that has gotten itself a bit more on track in the last few years (now that they can make more money on MSFS) - or it’s a great dev that will unapologetically leave a project on the table to chase much more lucrative government contracts. That’s fine, we live under capitalism, it’s up to you to determine your labor surplus of value if you’re a contractor like this. But, likewise, you’re entitled to vote with your wallet and I will too. No thanks.

I know what you mean, but L-100 doesn't have the same window arrangement around the nose as the military version, nor the same sensor lumps and bumps. 🙂 Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org
