I use AutoFPS with 2024 SU2.  In the image above showing objects, the TLOD was 1080 as chosen by AutoFPS. No impression of reduced objects.

Started with a new usercfg.opt file and default settings ( choose bij the sim )

Slewed to over Amsterdam Central station

Next test is doing a flight and making turns over the inner city at 2500 ft.

  • It seems to be a matter of completely opposing perspectives. When I "grade" Asobo and MSFS, I do it with a very keen remembrance of what came before. The years of "Lipstick on a pig", and flight

  • Have you ever bothered to read long list of fixed of your regular OS updates? And you are still using it and don't complain LOL

  • There is a thin line between constructive criticism and mindless bashing. A "true simmer" cares about positive improvement of the product . The simple truth is no one is forcing anyone to buy 2024. Th

Hi Gerard. Took a quick spin from Rotterdam up to Schipol this morning. Beautiful day! Came down to 1600ft. over the city.  All looks pretty crisp. Using Autp FPS by Reset.

Hi Artur,

Thank you for making that flight and the vid.

Like you I made almost the same flight , but I took of from Schiphol and at 3000 ft ( VC + zoom 0.60 ) I circled above Amsterdam , then flew to Rotterdam, made some circles above the city and then back to Amsterdam doing the same again. Back to Rotterdam, Amsterdam etc

Tested for 3h.

I now have something to work with. Not entitely 100% but at least 80-90% good.

Keep in mind that I am using 2 views and fly at 230 Kia’s….

My conclusion is that even with a 1000 mb IN connection , a 13900k & 5.5 GHz and a 4090, the pc is not capable to fill a city like Amsterdam with so many PG objects on 2 views at the speed I flew.

Regarding the Weather : I also ran my Left view pc and westher did not match at all. One time few Clouds or Clear on the server , while the Left view pc showed Broken Clouds and sometimes even an oc.

Both the same settings and both Real Weather.

So weather looked not sync’d on all views. Something that is spot on in 2020

Live weather in 2024 seems much more...changeable...than 2020. When I was on the runway it changed from 5/10th's overcast to fairly clear!

Now making a low-level helicopter video of the cycling route between Delft and Lieden that my wife and I will be taking in the summer.😀

Good luck with your sim!

It isn't capable on 1 PC either, PG is always a nightmare, very rarely works as intended.

Did not have this issue in 2020.

The large intercity buildingpcks  are the problem.
The house blocks are loading fine.

This is what I see there not using any sharpening or other filters, but I'm using Bijan's Seasons (you can click on the link to see it with higher resolution):

That looks better good to know it's possible.  What other settings might be impacting this?  Is NCP at default desktop settings?

I did, go to Burbank airport, this place is a good example. Big blobs all around you, in 20 and 24.
