There's occasional talk on their forums of an update, but very little news. They actually offered me a refund after I worked with their support (they really did try and figure it out). I held on to the product, hoping some day it gets fixed. I have a funny feeling it just doesn't work well in 2024.

The last official news update was December. Hopefully they are still working on it. For now I use FSLTL or BATC. At least you can use the models in other products.

I see, just one time I saw the traffic but never again. I tried all the posted tricks, settings and possible scenarios and nada. So might be true that we should wait for the official 2024 update. Ok then back to FSLTL, no problem about that, just wanted the streamed AI traffic instead of the installed AI.

Right! another reason I wanted JF traffic working in 2024, the models are great despite the lack of cargo models and other liveries.

Fwiw, the AI models and liveries/paints in 2020 and 2024 are the same.

I've been using FS Traffic in MSFS 2024 for quite some time, and for some reason, the AI traffic is often going in the wrong direction on the runway. For instance, I will be landing or taking off on Runway 28L, and there is another aircraft using Runway 10R (always while using the correctly assigned runway in my case). Not sure what the story is with this, and if anyone else has had this issue.

It's 100% because it's using the AI engine of the sim which has no idea what it's supposed to be doing.

I just installed it to have a look and I'm only seeing 959 liveries, that is a tiny fraction of what FSLTL includes which is itself a tiny fraction of AIG offers, both of which everyone knows are free.

Lighter on the system ONLY because it includes so little!

Thanks, that is what I figured. It's unfortunate, but at least I know it is not an issue on my end. I may have to give one of those other AI programs a shot.

I used to be able to get it working again by uninstalling and reinstalling FS Traffic. It never lasted though, traffic would still sometimes just never appear. I really do think it is something with the program. I even recently had to completely uninstall MSFS 2024 after some issues. I reinstalled Traffic and the exact same issue happened. So either some random addon is conflicting or something else isn't working. I gave up trying (and their support spend a few weeks trying, I give them credit).

I kept the program, hoping it gets updated some day. For now I'm using FSLTL or BATC.

The funny thing is, the real time traffic can often have issues. With FSLTL I get planes buzzing the airport at 100 feet or cruising at ground level like a fighter jet. Schedules aren't real time, but seem to just work more consistently.

You got me there on that, completely right! I also appreciate a lot JF traffic consistency, and the reason I can only enjoy it only in my MSFS2020 sessions.
