Looks like the default CJ4 in FS 2024 is really GOOD!

I loaded and took it for a short ride after watching some sections of both videos and it really feels great indeed !

Couldn't yet find a matching SimBrief profile though?

Now I have two great Citations to start doing what I never did before - vlying bizz jets 🙂

Just like with all other default aircraft in FS 2024, make sure you get the Aircraft Manual from :

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

For SimBrief, I still use this CJ4 SimBrief Profile from when WT was modding the aircraft in FS2020.  It still works well for me (in FS2020).  You may want to try it?

I just wish we could paint it...  (the 3d traditional way)

The only real way to paint these defaults is to use the mesh method ick.

Yep - two great add-ons!

I've personally started to lean back towards Gx000 cockpits, especially for IFR flying. Really just driven by the legit awesome situational awareness the moving map offers, because avionics standardization across add-ons & simulators, but mainly because my brain is full!

Side note: I even just bought the vSkyLabs NOTAR exactly because it has a G1000 (not to mention super cool twin turbine helo!).

I think it all started when I discovered what a great add-on the FSR500 is. And a LOT of that has to do with the extensive WT Gx000 improvements.

After I remembered that video Matt Nischan did about how very deeply simulated ALL the systems have become, despite outward appearances, I pulled the Citation Latitude out of the hangar for the first time in a looooong time.

Well, it's definitely improved, and IIRC it flies a heckuva lot better, too!

And then THAT good experience prompted me to dust off the AeroBask Phenom 300 (of which, IIRC, V1 Sims is also quite fond 😊).

Which also became a much more enjoyable flight just due to the Gx000.

Now all I really need is for @goran to release the Hot Start TBM v2 and I can probably finally be not only satisfied, but genuinely happy!

Another really nice video / tutorial for the default CJ4:

Same here... I much prefer a Garmin Gx000 avionics suite, over an FMC based cockpit.  So for me, this is the one:  https://cessna.txtav.com/en/citation/longitude

Really good in MSFS 2024 also!

How complete is the MSFS 2024 version of the CJ4 compared to the Longitude?

The Longitude is far and away my go to Biz Jet.  But, I'd love to get more familiar with the CJ if it's features are close to on par with the Longitude.

IIRC, Working Title / Matt Nischan actually started off with their CJ4 external mod before anything else.

IDK if either is finished to a higher standard. Might be a good question in their Discord.
