May 10, 20251 yr I dunno about brave, but certainly curious. My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.
May 10, 20251 yr Once, years ago I was repairing/working on a computer while Harry, my cat supervisor at the time, checked my work. The computer was running with the side panel off and Harry was on the table looking inside when I walked across the room to grab some tools, only to suddenly hear a muted *snap* sound and spin around to find the computer off and Harry exiting the area at warp 10. Not sure what he did, but computer was completely dead. We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically. May 10, 20251 yr Harry probably generated a few million volts of static on his fur and then zapped a vital component on the board.... 🤔 I note, legendary overclocker and CEO of Thermal Grizzly, Roman Hartung, often has his cats sniff his work and give their approval. I guess, if they aren't happy, that's when they generate the computer killing zapication.
May 10, 20251 yr One thing brilliant people, and even geniuses, share with cats is avid curiosity. What does that tell you about cats? Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

Noel Like so many brilliant people, and even geniuses, sometimes they lack common sense too.😉 P.S. I love dogs and cats both. Well maybe dogs a little bit more, but not by much.
