PMDG 777F for MSFS2024 released

Featured Replies

The JF PA-28R Turbo Arrow is flying in SU3 Beta without any issues that I can notice.

So its not as if SU3 Beta is taking out all aircraft.

Instant CTD in SU3 Beta, just to let you know. No complaint, beta is beta

  • No thank you I have already bought two 777's for MSFS2024 from PMDG 🤑💰💸 It is like buying the same plane over and over again....................

  • Yes, I am allways tempted too to buy extra planes but can also just fly the passenger variant and imagine I am flying the freighter 🤣

777 making my 2024 crash

We get it’s a beta. What the hope is that whatever is broken in SU3 that causes those CTDs will be corrected next round of fixes. I don’t think anyone expects PMDG to issue a special patch or something.

Actually tried to fly it....since the update

By not opting out of the SU2 Beta I have been auto carried into the SU3 Beta & actually I'm not sure how to get back to SU2.

It’s easy, just leave the beta. If you have the store version, use the Xbox insider app, click previews, choose MSFS 2024 preview, then manage, and then you can leave the beta.

Steam is also easy - I believe it’s in the steam interface but I don’t have that so can’t say for sure. But I know it’s easy and quick.

after you leave, MSFS will download an update the next time you start it (even does it in the background) and then you will be on the release SU2 build.

Someone mentioned to completely get off the Beta and that worked miracles.

Everything working great again.

looking forward to fly the big bird in 2024 and the RJ in Australia

Sure. It’s a beta. You can seldom expect miracles in a beta. And even less in the first build. For a stable version use SU2 and don’t join the SU3beta. Which is being tested by brave simmers to help it becomes the next miracle

Flew the RJ last night in SU3 beta, didn’t experience any issues

Win 11

Took MSFS 2024 back to SU2 from the SU3 Beta, & the 777 is now running very smoothly in SU2.
