June 4, 20251 yr I'm starting a new topic as originally I thought PSXT was causing problems with sounds disappearing in the flight deck. But, it seems like any AI traffic generator (PSXT, FSLTL, Beyond ATC) is all doing the same. Is there a way to disable the sound limit? It seems MSFS 2024 is disabling sounds when they reach a limit (as I guess they are doing with AI generated). Surely sounds on AI traffic should be disabled before sounds in the cockpit are? It means button clicks, chimes but most importantly call outs (V1, rotate etc) are not being heard. It's really affecting using MSFS properly. Surely I should be able to use the PMDG 777 with AI traffic to create a proper airline simulation? June 4, 20251 yr This is a new one to me. I use BATC all the time and haven’t seen this happen. You mean all cockpit sounds go away? you have tried with no addons besides BATC? Sure it’s not a conflicting addon? 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

Engine and environment sounds seem to stay, it's things like button clicks, chimes, warnings, call outs etc. This is the PMDG 777 with PSXT and then with Beyond ATC AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 12 Core, 24 Threads, 4.4GHz, 5.5GHz Turbo 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance 32GB GeForce® RTX 5090 Graphics Card
June 4, 20251 yr Ok I haven’t tried the 777 so can’t say. But doesn’t happen on the Fenix or Ini planes 9800X3d, 4090, 64 GB DDR5 6000 RAM, 4 TB NVME (2x2), 4K Ultra + Framegen

I use PSXT with sometimes more then 150 AI aircraft, and PMDG 777F in MSFS 2020 without these problems. Edited June 5, 20251 yr by kiek

June 7, 20251 yr Author Any one else haing this issue? Everytime I use AI traffic, my cockpit sounds just disappear. Just had a great flight TLPL - EGKK in the PMDG 777. On final approach I lost cockpit sounds (button clicks and call outs) which made landing very difficult and very unrealistic. June 7, 20251 yr I am having this also in the Fenix. It doesn't happen all the time though, very sporadic. Chris Howard

I have had this issue in MSFS 2024 with the default A330 while using PSXT and I have had the issue with INIBuilds A350 also while using PSXT. While at INIBuilds KLAX, sounds disappeared in the flightdeck pre-departure and then returned during climb. And sounds on approach to the same airport disappeared so I got no call outs, chimes, partial engine sounds disappeared. I haven't tried disabling AI traffic yet to see if that makes a difference.

Just tried this in the iniBuilds A350 and same thing happened. With other people also having the same issue, surely this is a bug that Asobo need to address? It's totally destroying any realism and enjoyment in the sim. It's also making me regret buying 2024. I have a good system, fresh install of everything, so I don't know what else I could do? June 7, 20251 yr Using PSXT with the Prosim 738 I have callouts, trimsound, warmings etc Did you try with a lower parked ac percentage ? Perhaps your system is running under high stress and less important features like those sounds are not being played anymore because of that. 5950x3d 5.4-5.7 GHz - Asus ROG 870 Crosshair Apex - GSkill Neo 2x 24 Gb 6000 mhz / cas 26 - MSI RTX 5090 Gaming Trio OC - 1x SSD M2 6000 2TB - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 1Tb - Corsair 5400 case - Corsair 360 liquid cooling set - 3x 75’ TCL tv. 13600 6 cores @ 5.1 GHz / 8 cores @ 4.0 GHz (hypterthreading on) - Asus ROG Strix Gaming D - GSkill Trident 4x Gb 3200 MHz cas 15 - Asus TUF RTX 4080 16 Gb - 1x SSD M2 2800/1800 2TB - 2x Sata 600 SSD 500 Mb - Corsair D4000 Airflow case - NXT Krajen Z63 AIO liquide cooling - FOV : 200 degrees My flightsim vids : https://www.youtube.com/user/fswidesim/videos?shelf_id=0&sort=dd&view=0

I have a very high end system, freshly all installed so I don't think stress is anything to do with it. I never had this problem in 2020 running PSXT on its default values. Happens with BeyondATC too at traffic levels 5. Other people are reporting the same issue so it must be a bug AMD Ryzen™ 9 9900X3D, AM5, Zen 5, 12 Core, 24 Threads, 4.4GHz, 5.5GHz Turbo 64GB (2x32GB) DDR5 6000MHz Corsair Vengeance 32GB GeForce® RTX 5090 Graphics Card
