  • wow Thanks Microsoft/Asobo, this sim is getting more beautiful as time passes. I am so amazed at what these two companies have accomplished so far.  Kudos to them and every developer involved.

  • Its Bob, that's all I can say.

Has anyone tested Samscene NY 2.0 with this in 2024?

I just did.. It is a matter of personal preference..  The PG scenery is very good, but the Samscene buildings are more distinct.  Some will call the Samscene look "artificial".. I actually like it.  😊

Actually, it is.. 😉  See screenshot.. (2024, no Samscene)

I will get this automatic in 20204, and must "buy" it in 2020. is that correct?

No. You have to "buy" it in both sims. Difference is that after you bought it it is automatically streamed in 2024 whereas in 2020 you still have to install it first, even though it is just a few bites.

For 2024, it is automatically enabled.  No need to "buy".

Correction: Not true.. take that back.. see below.

Untrue. I just did it this afternoon and you absolutely have to "buy" it.

Do you think I just make up statements without the backup of personal experience?

Not sure what happened, but for me, it was announced when I started up 2024, and I did not "buy" it...

It was simply enabled, without me taking any action..  Correction: My bad... It was not.. 🫢

Yes it was announced that is correct. Happened to me as well.

But it was only announced. You still have to go into the marketplace, search for City Updates and "buy" it.

Since always. In order for an optional free update to work you have to "buy" it for for zero money first in the marketplace.

That's why we keep putting the "buy" in hyphens. Because you don't actually have to spend any money you just have to do the process of buying it.

In my version, something bad has happened to the George Washington bridge. I think Godzilla butt-bumped it......

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.
