  • Fenix.... never change.   Months of silence, then a video that speaks of a release on Tues- or Wednesday and then release one day earlier on a Monday.   That's how it's done. 👏

Yup! Standby changing the freq in sim, but not on the panel. Switching to standby on the panel taking the freq as on the panel, which is unchanged. Spex.Next recognizing wrong standby freq from the sim. Flying on Vatsim is quite stressful nowadays.

Found this solution on the Fenix Discord. You need to do that on Spad.next:

Switch to a LVAR based snippet rather than a Simconnect based one.

a question to all of you regarding sounds in the Fenix.

Does anyone of you experience, after spool up of the engines, that it makes no difference, in terms of sound, when you open or close the cockpit windows ?

I would expect that if you open them you hear the engine sounds louder then with closed windows.

If you have them open during spool up. this is clearly noticeable, but after spool up it is super silent with opened windows...

With the first BFU release this was, at least for the IAE variant, different.

Curious what you guys think.
