The more we (think) we find out about the Universe, the weirder it gets.

We are all connected..... To each other, biologically...... To the Earth, chemically...... To the rest of the Universe atomically.

Don't take this video too seriously. It is playing with the many worlds interpretation (MWI), which always leads to weirdness. Unless you want to understand the entire universe (i.e., if understanding a very large part of it suffices for you) , decoherence ( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Quantum_decoherence ) will do the job just fine. No need for MWI outside of cosmology.

It seems you have chosen a side in the ongoing debate!

If one truly wants to know the meaning of life, the universe, and everything, one only needs to know the number 42. 😁

My computer: ABS Gladiator Gaming PC featuring an Intel 10700F CPU, EVGA CLC-240 AIO cooler (dead fans replaced with Noctua fans), Asus Tuf Gaming B460M Plus motherboard, 16GB DDR4-3000 RAM, 1 TB NVMe SSD, EVGA RTX3070 FTW3 video card, dead EVGA 750 watt power supply replaced with Antec 900 watt PSU.

I would like to know the meaning of life.  I live in a place where I see varying degrees of life every day from people in motorized wheel chairs, push it yourself wheel chairs and walkers.  I'm one of the very few who can still walk unaided.

Then there's dementia.  I run into every day.  One lady who likes to tell us about working for the phone company and quickly forgets she told us and starts all over again.  Another who is beautiful and sweet but can't remember what you told her five minutes ago.  And my best male friend here who can't remember how to tell time but we tell each other old jokes and laugh and laugh and laugh.

When I am asked why I am still physically and mentally healthy I tell them my mother was abducted by aliens so half my genes come from a galaxy far, far away.

The tires are worn.  The shocks are shot.  The steering is wobbly.  But the engine still runs fine.

Well, let me tell you what I think the meaning of life is.

We come here from somewhere else [unspecified] to learn and be entertained.  A combination of going to school and watching a movie.  When we're done, we go back where we came from, and probably share our experiences.

Richard Bach, in one of his books (probably Illusions) illustrates this nicely.  One character wonders why we're here.  Another character says, "Let's go to a movie."  Character one gets caught up in the movie (Butch Cassidy and the Sundance Kid if I remember right) but character two makes him leave in the middle of the movie.  "Why did you make me leave?"  This is "life".  I'd already figured this out long before I read the book.

As for being in a wheelchair, don't think of it as confining.  I had gout once and couldn't walk, and if not for a wheelchair I couldn't get out of the house.  It's actually very freeing.  It helped that it was a powered wheelchair, which are more fun than you'd think. 🙂
