Are you in FS 2020 or 2024?

Looks like it's a 2020 model, and that means some flight dynamics features, as well as ground physics fine tuning might not be available (?)

Flying gliders since 1980

Flightsimming since 1992

AMD Ryzen 5600x, 32GB RAM, GPU Nvidia RTX 3060 Ti 8 GB, 1 TB and 500 GB nvme2 SSD drives, HP 27" 60Hz LED monitor @ 1920x1080, T16000, Hotas from old X52 Pro, Saitek Combat Rudder Pro (2010 model)

For me the only way to remove the co-pilot in SWS aircraft (and change the default from Female to Male) is to edit the Pilot section of the aircraft.cfg to -

[PILOT]
pilot="Pilot_Male_Casual"
copilot=""

remove the copilot entry completely

I'm using it under MSFS 2024. I was under the impression that this was generally agreed to by the community (eg. @ryanbatc?, @Bert Pieke?) as compatible with MSFS 2024.

It is compatible with 2024.

Where can I find the aircraft.cfg file for the RV10?  I bought it at the Marketplace for the Store version of the sim.

Have you removed the copilot from the MSFS options first? Click on your name in the top right from the main menu, then click on Customize Identity, then Copilot, and then choose no copilot (first option).

I don't have that specific plane so can't test it, but try this first before messing about with cfg files.

Yes. I have, and I also zeroed out the payload.

As I said, for me the only way to remove the co-pilot in SWS aircraft is to edit the Pilot section of the aircraft.cfg

If you bought this from the Marketplace, then until SWS fix this if they ever do, you will always have company.

Yes. From the Marketplace. I forgot about that. You saved me a lot of time. Thank you.

Personally, I prefer the 14 or the 8 but if you get one of those, best get it direct from them or Just Flight etc.

Getting rid of unwanted passenger is in flight_model.cfg Look under Weight_and_Balance. In that section there is

station_load.0 = 187,0.022094,-0.000007,0.108709,TT:MENU.PAYLOAD.PILOT,1
station_load.1 = 187,-1.98612,0,0.180584,TT:MENU.PAYLOAD.COPILOT,2                        CHANGE THE 187 to 0
station_load.2 = 0,2.200883,-0,0.798311,TT:MENU.PAYLOAD.FRONT_BAGGAGE,6
station_load.3 = 0,

Doesn't work with SWS in 2024. They still show up which is why I have to remove the copilot in the aircraft.cfg.

And anyway, this was purchased by the OP from the Marketplace so they don't have access to cfg files.
