I was wondering if there are any recommended settings in the Nvidia Control Panel for MSFS 2024, especially for high-end PCs, or whether everything is better left default. Thanks!

Only thing I ever do is put power optimisation into prefer max performance 

Yep, leave at default except for power setting... will save you a lot of time tinkering... a high end spec machine like yours will be fine with pure grunt

Do this registry hack, reboot, then go into NVCP 3D settings and set Sharpening.  I found default works great. Fantastic find, sharpens w/ the least amount of sharpening artifact.  Whenever the GPU driver is update you will need to reinstall this reg hack.

Sharpening Hack:

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\nvlddmkm\Parameters\FTS

Go to GR535, change from Hex 1 to 0

Outside of that always can fine tune desktop color settings as desired.

But keep in mind that MSFS2024 must match the Nvidia Control Panel setting, so I've included them aswell.

I use this too and is brilliant... bare in mind when you install a new driver update you will need to reset the registry as well

Ill try... im not so much of a wiz with that sort of thing... got to be careful that the sharpness is not overdone or does look grainy

I make sure G-SYNC is enabled (Set-up G-SYNC), and set Vertical Sync to 'On' (Manage 3D Settings)

(I set 2x DLSS in the sim which greys out the VSync option)
