December 16, 2025Dec 16 Hello Gang! I'm trying to find a way to get ActiveSky FS to auto launch when I launch MSFS2024. Is this possible at all? I've tried adding the ActiveSky entry in the EXE.xml file to no avail. Any help is appreciated. Thanks for any insights. Sincerely, Dennis D. If you use the highly popular AddonsLinker auto launching AS and many other apps is very easy. December 16, 2025Dec 16 I have used AddonsLinker for years but I have never managed to set up any programs to auto launch with it for some reason. Otherwise the Linker works like a charm... Should the AddonsLinker be in the same directory as the sim itself? I got my AL installation in my D drive and the sim in C drive.... Tapani Österberg
December 16, 2025Dec 16 I have tried AddOnLinker, FSUIPC, EXE.XML and have not manage to get it to start with MSFS.

December 16, 2025Dec 16 I start and load the flight plan into Active Sky FS, then start MSFS2024. Seems to work properly for me. James M Driskell, Maj USMC (Ret)

Set up the paths to your apps in "tools", "options", "additional options". Once set up, you begin MSFS and the addons my clicking the green icon at the far right end of the Addons Linker toolbar. Just before the drop down window. Everything else, yes. Spad, AAO etc.

Type this: [Programs] Run1=CLOSE,"C:\Program Files\HiFi\AS_FS\AS_FS.exe" to the FSUIPC.ini For me, the only way to make fsuipc work 100%, is to set FlightSimulator2024.exe to start as admin. December 17, 2025Dec 17 Thx Sergio. I dont use FSUIPC no more. Not mush need anymore with simconnect, Spad and AAO but, I do still have it. Believe I have tried it in the past per previous post. Seems like a permissions thing.
