December 20, 2025Dec 20 Hi!,im just wondering why in dev mode i get nice and stable FPS and a Green Mainthread unlimited but after passing lets say 20-30 second Mainthread begins to load Up and become on red my FPS drops 20-30 FPS less(not moving or touching anything in cockpit) but if i change my view to overhead or pedestal or pax wingviews It recovers again and when going to cockpit view the Mainthread is ok but after passing 30 seconds It becomes again to load Up Mainthread... FS2024 9980X3D 64MB RAM RTX5080 A mixture of high and ultra settings but texture res is on HIGH,also using FG without problems... Thanks for any info Edited December 20, 2025Dec 20 by BenzAmg
December 22, 2025Dec 22 I have the same issue and I’ve already written about it in the forums have you reached any solutions?

Btw not using or looking the dev mode frame counter charts. Alexander Colka

December 22, 2025Dec 22 Odd. Wonder if changing views is mmaayybbee reseting LODs and then it loads them up after the change? Not sure. Trying replicate this. Which plane, settings like lod etc are you running? Tried autofps or OLOD changes? Sorry i keep thinking the objects are getting reloaded does it happen out of dev mode? December 22, 2025Dec 22 I have these issues too. To me, it's like it is ignoring the off-screen pre-caching setting. I cannot get rid of panning stutters. I've re-installed the sim, cleared caches, tried numerous graphics drivers, empty community folder, etc. Even default CJ4 at Heathrow on low settings results in stutters, especially when looking up from the pedestal to an outside view. Nothing setting wise seems to stop it. You can improve it by setting TLOD to a low setting, like 100 but it does not 'cure' it. My Win 11 is up to date, I have latest BIOS and drivers for my MB. I'm out of ideas. i7 12700K , DDR4 64GB RAM @3600MHz, Asus Z690-Plus D4 MB, Gainward 4090 RTX Graphics, 850W Corsair PSU, Kraken AIO watercooler, Nvme 1TB ssd, 1TB ssd, 500GB ssd.

December 22, 2025Dec 22 If they are aware, then that's a good thing. Just patience now, nothing will be done over Christmas, that's for sure. Holiday time! they have been aware of it actually since the days of SU3 beta nothing was done about it before Highly doubtful anytime soon

The frames drop only occurs like that in my case, but just when transitioning the view from say, the pedestal to the pax wing view it is horrible, not smooth at all, and also right, like the airport scenery is rebuilding or something, but this happens after several seconds of not changing views. TLOD 100 just helps a little but yes, no cure, no ideas. In MSFS (sorry) there is no problem. Alexander Colka
December 22, 2025Dec 22 Tried with ray tracing and rebar off? Missing the PMDG DC6 in MSFS 2024 (she's here, but...).
