Christmas by LR...

Wishing ya allzzzzz Happy Season, with lot's of Joy & Love & Health for the upcoming New Year 2026 !!!

In the plane of Flight Simulation, my 2025 has been one of the most memorable years of my already longish simmer life 🙂

Since we're at the X-Plane forum, I will not refer to the other platforms that have also brought me so good moments of joy / pleasure / realization, and instead will say that X-Plane 12 has been steadily growing strong and "sexy" 🙂

This last update was remarkable in terms of performance. I have tested it for a couple hours in my desktop, even without any controllers attached to it, and was surprised by it's performance and for how gorgeous it already looks now.

I look fwd into the new scenery engine and whatever will still come from LR along the xp12 life cycle, and for the next version of this great FLIGHT simulator!!!

All of the Very Best to ya Allzzzzzzzz

(P.S.: Hey, Zulfi, wake up.... it's Christmas....)

Merry Christmas to you @jcomm!!

There are indeed great things to come for XP12 and I look forward to them all!

I don’t think you’ll be uninstalling XP12 anytime soon - at least until XP13 😉 ?

That is surely not going to happen ... X-Plane has never looked so good 👍

Just take a chance to try 12.4!!!

Happy Holidays! My present to myself was a VFlyteAir Twin Comanche (free via point redemption) - quite excellent. Also, after months of not flying in MSFS, I uninstalled the thing. No sense keeping it. The only thing I had there that I don’t in XP was a 727, an A300, and A310… And an 787. And Fokker F28. Gonna purchase the BAE series from JF for XP12, so that will be back. Also, MSFS doesn’t have a 757 and 767. XP has respectable MD-80, MD-11, 737, 747, 757, 767, 777, A32x, A33x, A340, A350… That’s plenty for me! 😁 Can’t wait to get the XCraft EMB fleet, missing ToLiss (319, 320, 330), and the upcoming AFL 737MAX!
