They do an excellent job -- I agree that Blacksquare makes excellent addons but I agree with qqwertz that A2A is much more comprehensive in their overall modeling and that makes the aircraft feel more alive and engages me much ore with it. 5 minutes ago, sd_flyer said: There is aftermarket deice system that could have been modeled in Aerostar. But Scott dismissed that notion and proffered to keep Aerostar as it is. I only hope there something else A2A pipeline that could potentially make all weather airframe ! Yep. The curious thing is that A2A have only made MSFS addons of aircraft they actually own. Whereas in P3D, they had a BUNCH of AccuSim addons where that wasn't the case. Not that their P3D GA addons were faster/IFR-ier, tho... Hopefully, it's more that they're still refining the MSFS AccuSim 2.0 against their own real-world data. But c'mon Scott - the entire ethos of AccuSim is to make addons fly right regardless of long-term intimate knowledge of the aircraft!!! All we know for now is that they've got a new one in the pipeline, and it's an airframe they've never modeled before. Which makes me sad, because MSFS desperately needs a Tier 1 Civ Mustang 😉

December 30, 2025Dec 30 I'm an X-Plane guy, but A2A together with Leonardo is the reason why I have MFS installed. I know that in Avsim, as in real life, there are many economic realities, but if you can afford it, it's 100% worth it.
December 31, 2025Dec 31 Is the 600 worth the money and fun to fly? Yes. That said, if you only want to fly planes that have every bell and whistle it might not be for you. I own it and like it, but don't fly it as much as I thought I would. Another twin to consider is the Black Square Duke. It's a very capable aircraft and very well-modeled. How? Given the fact Accusim is a standalone engine, operating independently from its base sim, the Youtube videos you have watched suggest that Accusim has gotten worse the last couple of years? It is supposedly less 'accu' in MSFS (2024) than it is in P3D? On 12/30/2025 at 6:42 PM, UrgentSiesta said: Have any specific references? AFAICT, the MSFS ones are at least as good. This indeed. What have you watched? Opinions may defer of course, but Accusim has only improved since the P3D days. Cheers, Bert AMD Ryzen 5900X, 32 GB RAM, RTX 3080 Ti, Windows 11 Home 64 bit, MSFS 2024
January 1Jan 1 Author Thanks you all I kicked out the money and am getting ready to test it out. I guess with no deicing she won't be good for Alaska but I will use it to hop between the Hawaiin islands.

There is a grey EFB tablet down next to your left foot 😊 Open it up, and you'll see the default MSFS2024 EFB. Click the grid icon on the far right of all of the icons at the very bottom of the EFB. You'll see some 'app' options and one of them is for "A2A Aerostar 600". Click on that and the 2nd or 3rd 'tab' is where you select the GPS options you want to use 👍 Bill 😎FS2024 • Currently in 'GA mode' : A2A Comanche 2024 & Aerostar • Black Square C208, Bonanzas, Barons, TBM850, Dukes • COWS DA40 & DA42 • FSW Legacy, C24R Sierra & C414 • Echo Falco F8L • FFX HJET, Visionjet and P180 2024 • Got Friends A32 Vixxen • FSReborn Sirius TL3000, Sting S4 and Piper M500 • Flyboy Rans S6S • Skyward DA50RG • SWS Zenith CH701, RV-8, RV-10, RV-14, PC12 • Milviz C310R • Air Foil Labs Bristell B23 TrackIR • BeyondATC • PMS GTN Payware • RealTurb • Axis & Ohs • FS Realistic Pro9800X3D • RTX 3080 • 64GB DDR5-6000NPPL licence holder in the UK
