From what I've seen, those people are still the minority.

kiwikat is improving this but here's a few general comparisons to what this is actually doing.ย  And yes it works perfectly in 2020 (one of those rare things I'll admit lol) - my shots are in 2024 thou

I am not amazed actually. The priorities of the players have changed quite a bit.ย

I mean, some people like that.ย  But there are plenty other ways to fly realistically in MSFS 2024.

Yeah, really important this.ย  Such a great mod.ย  I'm amazed it's not getting raved about more.ย ย

Honestly I have been pretty shy about advertising it since it still isn't working completely in 2024. Was hoping there would be more word of mouth from folks who enjoyed it. It gets a nice bump on the TO every week or so, but I suspect that will be over shortly unless I try to evangelize a bit. I do feel like a lot more people would enjoy it, but at the same time I don't want to be annoying about promotion.

I'm now on SU4 and I'd love to give your package try. Do you recommend that I wait for SU5 or will a do a good job at reducing lights in SU4.

I'd love to see a reduction of the size of the terrain pole lights similar to the size in MSFS 2020. Is this possible?

Thanks.

Iโ€™d probably wait until you switch to SU5. The effect is not very good with 2024 SU4.

I donโ€™t know anything about modifying the effects themselves, sorry.

I say go for it.ย  It's a complete gamechanger, with the caveat that it's not perfect at distance.ย  I'm flying over central Asia at the moment and it's not covered in every dirt track being lit up like a christmas tree.ย  Just lit up areas for towns and the odd freeway.ย  It looks totally authentic.ย  With AB's presets on Atmos I don't even notice anything disappearing in the distance.

What I don't like is how night time isn't dark enough though.ย  I can see all the snow and the contours of the mountains, even at midnight.ย  That's nothing to do with your mod though.ย ย

A great mod.ย  hope it gets more traction.ย  it's completely transforming my night flying.ย  You're not even charging for it, and it's completely transformative.ย ย

I just use the MSFS exposure slider to make the night as dark as I need it. Also depends a lot on your display type - mine is a plain no-HDR LCD display that technically can't show real black.

MSFS2020 did a pretty good job at making nights dark. So dont blame your monitor so fast.ย
