I love the Fenix A320. I know i will have many many hours of enjoyment from it, and I have maybe 50 hours in it already. Airbus just rocks, and Fenix crushed it with the A320. But…I need to scratch the Boeing itch, and what better way to do that than becoming a freight dawg flying the PMDG 777F? 

Any serious issues I need to know about? I assume quality is up there because…PMDG. I guess i need to dust off my GSX Pro? 

After tackling the triple 7 I guess the next mountain to climb will be the MD-11?

PMDG 77F integration with GSX is a bit limited. The freight loading animation looks great, but you have to enter the payload manually. The tanker parks in the middle of the left engine and you have to load fuel manually too. I love the plane though 🙂

I have the FSL A321 and GSX is tightly integrated - you don't need the GSX menu and the tutorial includes GSX in the flow. It shows what can be done when devs co-operate with each other.

GSX straight up doesn't work with the 777, and it'll actually give you door faults.  

The 777 is great though.   If you want another freight dog, the TFDi MD-11 is excellent as well.

Yea, unfortunately PMDG seems to have decided to end any kind of support for GSX and perhaps as a consequence the do not play so well together, especially the door fault issue, which I think can be worked around but honestly they just don't play so nicely together anymore. It is not a huge deal the static PMDG ground equipment can give some ambiance and their turn around mode works well. I miss GSX sometimes but it is a great simulation and opens up some really nice missions. 

There's a GSX 777F profile on Flight.to that seems to do a little better with PMDG.

Enjoy the 777F, @RobJC, and the life of a freight dawg (or dog; as the case maybe...🙂...).

The 777 is a stalwart long-hauler for us...in our current SIM, and if I can fly it without a single hitch (ever) on my Xbox, you can surely do so.

I think you'll have better luck with the 777 than the 350.

That (777F) or the ini A300-600RF

I have both and really I fly the A300-600 more, but I plan to get into the 777 more.   The A300-600 can haul some serious freight too.  I don't have GSX though, so I don't know how it might work with that.

Is the A300-600 a paid add-on? I may check it out. Okay i found it.
