February 22Feb 22 Hi All, Over the last 3 months I have been rebuilding my 738 cockpit. This weekend I upgraded the pc. I updated MS 2024 to 1.6.34,0. The issue I have is that the Community folder is not being read at all. Has there anything been changed ? I have nothing in the Community2024 folder. Everything is in the Community folder. Already I have verified the files. AddonsLinker24 sees everything too. Just out of a gut feeling I deleted the Content.xml file and it solved it… pffff You don't need to delete UserOpt.cfg, and actually if you have set it to indicate a different folder for your "Packages", the last entry in that file, if you delete it it'll probably get the path reset to it's default value... The base scenery + Prosim 738 flight model always have enabled is in the Community folder Everything else is in a custom MSFS 2024 Addons folder which also has subfolders for all scenery (AP/Landm per country ). For that folder I use AddonsLinker. February 24Feb 24 The second version of SU5 update automatically changed my community file path, and so none of the assets inside community appeared in the game. When I reset the path (My Library small cogwheel) msfs2024 then recognized the assets but had them all disabled. I had to go in and enable them all, and there were lots of them. If I had never joined the beta then that path would not have been changed, thus avoiding this hassle. I noticed when the scenery did not look right in the UK. With Orbx Central UK (The Bronte sisters' house and Church). Without Orbx scenery: 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Crystal Light VR.
