March 17Mar 17 Where do I find taxiway restriction information in Navigraph Charts? There are certain airports where I fly the PMDG 737 that have taxiways that look a bit narrow for a commercial airliner, so I want to know which taxiways I should avoid. That's usually something on the ATIS or notams. Don't remember seeing that on charts. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
March 17Mar 17 The full charts should show any specific restrictions. YVR for instance just because I work there has 4 pages of them in the CAP, with Navigraph charts they use Jepp shows most on the Airport info page. i7-13700KF, 32gb DDR4 3200, RTX 4080, Win 11, MSFS 2024

That would be for temporary changes, but I think @Christopher Low is asking for permanent restrictions on taxiway usage? This tends to be in the "Airport Briefing" section. For example, for EDDF, look at chart 10-1P4 (section 1.6, "Taxi Procedures") and following, with a detailed description of the limitations. Some airports, again EDDF for example, do also have charts for temporary changes of longer duration. See for example charts 10-8B, 10-8D and 10-8E.
March 17Mar 17 I would refer to the charts under the "Taxi" tab. For large airports there may be separate taxiway restriction charts for various wingspan. Alternatively look in the Airport briefing info usually found at the top of the charts list and refer to any taxi restrictions mentioned in either the arrivals or departure procedures. March 17Mar 17 Also, this coincides with checking NOTAMs, knowing your aircraft's taxi limitations and bringing it all together during your taxi planning with the charts. Rick D http://g5flyer.tumblr.com/

Of course. Usually restrictions do not apply for narrowbodies. Everything from a 747 and above will have their own charts at times, but with a simple 737 I would never worry about not being allowed to taxi anywhere.
March 17Mar 17 Author Another case in point is ESSV Visby. Taxiway Mike is rather narrow, which made me think that my 737 should not be taxiing on it. However, the charts indicate that it is available for Category C aircraft in daylight, so my 737-600 qualifies for that. It is borderline with respect to landing weight for my 737-800/900s, but it should be OK for simulated purposes Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
March 17Mar 17 I use the jeppesen flight deck pro app on an iPad at work. That has a tailored AMM airfield moving map on which you can select the restricted taxiway slider. That then displays taxiways where the 787 isn’t allowed in red. Just giving an example of a real world solution, not sure if there’s a simulator equivalent feature available in navigraph. 787 captain.
