I'm installing the AIG fleet and traffic controller. So far so good.

I just finished the USA.

I'm now installing Global.

Does it include South American Airliners? Both SA & ASIA are not currently available for fast install.

I want to see if I can use AIG to replace my FSLTL fleet and injector when doing VFR flights. I will also test using BATC.

Any tips are appreciated. Such as ideal setting in TC. I want some ground traffic, but nothing too crazy. I saw a video where vehicles in KMIA were behaving like it was I95. 😀

AIG does include worldwide airlines at both SA, Asia and some GA traffic.

Why in the world would you install the complete package? Not only will it takes hours, it will also take up copious amounts of space on your storage device.

If I were you I'd only install the packages for the areas you actually fly in. What would you need some local chinese, or russian airlines that never fly internationally and that you will never see unless you fly there yourself?

For example I look up the schedule of the  airports I fly to on FR24 and then download only those packages.

I tried to post on the forum, but it kept asking me to verify that I'm a human being.

I downloaded Global and it took about 6 hours. I'm now downloading some GA. Can't wait to see what you have done with this latest version.

AIG Global install size is only about 30 GIG right now. Compare that to FSLTL @ 48 GIG.

I have a TB dedicated just for MSFS add-ons. I have a lot of space since v2024 is streamed.

Maybe at this point where you are at. With my approach I currently sit at 50Gig and that is not a full install. For that I'd have still 2253 packages to go. I currently have 590 flightplans installed.

Space or no space, it's still unnecessary server load to download stuff you'll never see.

I'm not installing everything. I'm going with Global and a bunch of GA. I'm keeping the install bellow 50 GIG.

No. There are still more than 2600 FPs available after I installed it and it was about 30 GIGS.

Ah so then I was misunderstanding what the preset installs do.

This is why is good to open new threads. This installer has changed. I only downloaded one file from the avsim library. When I did this years ago, there were many files that had to be downloaded from the avsim library.
