You only fully appreciate what you have when it’s no longer available. Lots of people making a modest contribution goes a long way to ensuring AIG remains commercially viable for many years. https://www.alpha-india.net/forums/index.php?topic=35642.0 yeah. The linking was automatic and seemed painless. Just like an addon linker. I didn't want to run into path issues, plus I use a 2nd drive for my addon linker anyway. Basically I install to d:\aig_oci\ and it seems easy. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF

They appear designed for landscape, not portrait. Makes sense as my laptop is 16:9, not 9:16. 😁 Ray (Cheshire, England). April 22Apr 22 Author I'm blown away by the performance of this package. I1000 FPs and TC shows 80+ aircraft around me and I can't believe that the performance is the same as when I had 15+ airplanes. This is in NYC with SamScene3D NYC, several payware airports, moving cars, and boats, etc. This is incredible! BTW, my fps are capped @30 and it's silky smooth. MSFS
April 23Apr 23 A couple of questions as I mess around with this more: -Sometimes the traffic controller program hangs for a long time. I alt-tab, and I can see the window, but I can't tab to it (as if it is crashed). It seems to come back eventually. Everything seems to work ok so I just leave it. -I keep getting prompted about making a regedit to fix the 256 path limit. Do I need to do this? I have the oci on a separate short path and drive and don't seem to be having issues (unless my first one is that). I can backup my registry manually and make that edit, but not sure if I need it. -I have a few flight plan errors showing, specifically for Southwest, which is a big airline that I see a lot (oddly enough, very popular in the northeast). I seem to be getting SW traffic, but not a ton. I fired up KDAL and saw lots of SW so it clearly works. Should I worry about these or just ignore them? I did have some American Airlines errors, so I reinstalled the north america plans and those seem to resolve. Overall I'm impressed with the program. Performance is really good. I fired up JFK at 100% traffic and other than an initial hit when it first loaded (expected), it seemed very reasonable. I really like how there's general aviation options too. Not everything flying out there is an airliner. I'm still installing all the various options. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF

I found that if I open the ap after msfs loads, I have no issues. At first I had some delays. Then, they went away. I now can start the ap at the same time as msfs with the addon linker. So far, so good! MSFS

I think one of the videos recommended that. Starting it early seemed to cause more issues, but I still got the freezing for a bit. It might just be doing work in the background. I've just started messing around with it. I don't like the idea of a program that looks to be frozen, but it seems to come back with time. Of course I just start up in the 172 and instantly start looking at traffic, rather than going through checklists to start the engine. I'll have to try a real flight. ------------------------- Craig from KBUF

Don't worry about the errors, just open the AIManager once a week to check for updates. Maybe @Kaiii3 can help you with this one? April 23Apr 23 I used to use AIG then changed to FSLTL as it was simpler. I found AIG took ages to check for updates and ages to start the traffic injector. I reinstalled it again last year to test it being used by Beyond ATC and all the airliners landing gears were missing so I removed it again after running the various model and texture tests with the AIG app. Like others said I only used FSLTL when casually flying around in VFR without any flightplans (which BATC requires). Might try AIG again. Previously I had it working fine with Addon Linker and could disable it if I didnt want my sim taking 10 mins to start. April 23Apr 23 I decided to download the lot (Global + GA) and it weighs in at 82gb, will have a play tomorrow. IIRC I just need the Traffic Controller running in the background and NOT the Manager, right?
