Justflight Fokker F70/F100 dev update 01MAY2026

And just to add that the Operations Manual contains a tutorial flight (starting on page 146) that's very similar in style to the one for the RJ that I linked to earlier.

  • As worn and dirty as a typical Fokker 70/100 would be in live service today please.  I hate PMDG-esque pristine textures - in my opinion they just look cartoonish ™️

Just don't make it too dirty. Some of us do like our aircraft to be relatively clean and tidy.

Another great teaser followed by painful soontm 🙂

I went searching among my 100’s of flim discs for the ITVV British midland F100 video that came with the digital aviation F100 box set from the mid 2000’s. I thought I’d never find it but completely randomly I found it next to the TV, what it was doing there or how long it had been there I’ve no idea , but it must be a sign !

It’s quite good for learning the aircraft as I recall. I notice pilots were a lot younger in those days🙂

ITVV Flightdeck PAL Download on the Fokker 100. Captain Ian Lawrie presents this flight deck documentary. Round trip East Midlands > Nice

Maybe I’ll venture into the loft later to see if I can find the digital aviation F100 box with it’s comprehensive ( I presume) manual

Is that pure coincidence, or an act of genius by the JustFlight team? 😉

I'm hoping that the Fokker 100 comes with the Air Berlin D-AGPB livery; I'm sure I saw it in a JF development post some time back. I travelled from Stansted to Glasgow in her on 11th July 2006.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

🤣 The same thought occurred to me, but I thought no one else would notice. I was wrong!

The tutorial flight has now been downloaded, printed, and secured in a ring binder for easy access 😎

I’m so very excited about this release!

Back in 1991 when I was in high school, I traveled to Cincinnati for my cousin’s wedding which turned out to have a lot of incredible airliner experiences. The highlight of which was flying back from Cincinnati to Chicago en route home to Wisconsin on this beauty - N1401G. She was BRAND new - per the Captain our flight back to Chicago was only her 2nd revenue flight, their trip down to Cincinnati that morning being her first revenue run. It was a fun ride culminating with an approach over downtown Chicago (which looks quite different today) and a landing on 22L at ORD. I managed to find my grainy “110 Camera” photos…hopefully they come thru if not will master the art of uploading them! N1401G flew for American then JetsGo in Canada then in Mongolia but was sadly scrapped years ago.Plane

Hopefully you all can see my photos of N1401G via clicking on the little links to my Amazon photos? Here’s the exterior of the plane as seen from the OLD CVG terminal - I remember the windows were at knee height and I had to bend down to get the photo.

The cousin in question divorced within months, little did I know that having to bend down an usher in her wedding would properly prepare me for a JustFlight product launch!

(I tried from a device not logged into avsim and seems like if you click my inserted link then again on the square you can see my photos - what a beauty, so glad this is launching with a AA livery!)

I actually wasn’t going to bother buying this, nothing against JF and their product, I’m just in a lazy GA flying mood recently and couldn’t be bothered learning a new technical aircraft.

However the comments in this video say the aircraft is easy to learn and feels good to fly.

Looks like I picked the wrong week to stop buying aircraft.

You can stop buying aircraft after this one.
