I am just puzzled. The PMDG flight decks look excellent and very realistic to me. They do not look "cartoonish". Look at the screenshots from the just flight a300 posts and then look at the real a300 cockpits... now do the same with the pmdg and real life photos. Nuff said
May 3May 3 Those real A300 cockpits were brand new once. That is my point. Christopher Low AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D CPU / 64GB DDR5-6000 RAM / 12GB Nvidia RTX 4070 Super GPU / Gigabyte X870E Aorus Elite Wifi 7 / 1+2TB Samsung Evo Plus M2 Nvme UK2000 Beta Tester
May 3May 3 PMDG and others never look 100% in the sim because all aircraft in real life (even relatively new) has dirt and some degree of wear / cosmetic damage. More often than not some scratches, smudges and dust (among other crud). They are used daily - most often several times a day. I have to wonder if some people have ever seen a real life flight deck before. As far as the JF Fokker 70/100 is concerned I am not gonna hold my breath. They keep teasing excellent looking screen shots and constantly keep saying they keep finding bugs. This thing has been in development since 2023. We are always told we are on the home stretch or very near. I think we'll see the Bluebird 757 before we see the Fokker 70/100. It is honestly becoming a bit of a joke..

JF has undertaken an enormous amount of work to provide free MSFS2024 upgrades to their entire FS20 range in the last 18 months. That might be responsible for the slip in the Fokker release date, don't you think? Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting. https://rationalwiki.org

That's how I make my paints too. Plus native 2024 planes can get dirty anyway. Just a thought bubble. Some devs have a neat feature allowing you to manually adjust the "External Wear" on their aircraft. I wonder if they could ever look at a similar feature for cockpit wear and tear....... Jase

Well done! Apart from your obvious attempt at humor - I do agree with you that should release with as few bugs as possible. I also agree that they shouldn't disappoint me. I have pretty much every other product they have published and I am rarely disappointed with what they put out. My only disappointment is how long this is taking. Sorry you felt the need to try and be clever in order to put me down. Try harder.. 😄

It is for me, that is why I am disappointed in the delays..

I just dont know whether they cant get the Fokker 70/100 through the door because they are busy updating their older stuff. Sounds to me they will soon need more devs if that is the case. They will never be able to release anything new because they will constantly be updating their old stuff.
