May 10May 10 Your expectations, that MS will make core updates like this to an older version of the simulator, replaced in 2024, may be unrealistic. Have you looked into MSFS 2024? May 10May 10 This has to be rage bait. Of course Microsoft isn't going to give comprehensive updates to an outdated sim. 2024 is very good and is suitable for almost all systems. I don't really understand what making some kind of standoff with Microsoft to give you something you want is going to do for you. I think if Jorg saw this post, his response would pretty much be "don't let the door kick you on your way out".

May 10May 10 For the record, yesterday I removed 2020 from my computer and gained about 1.2 TB of space on my drive by doing that. First, all the 2020 assets in official & community were moved to 2024. Except those that were already in 2024. It took awhile to sort them out. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. Well, with some update (I think it was end of last year), they switched to MSFS2024 textures for MSFS2020. So yes, the original 2020 ground textures were better than the 2024 ones. For those, who stayed on 2020, it was a significant change to the worse. Edited May 10May 10 by Watsi
