May 17May 17 Graphics as well done as a Carenado. It is not slow to respond to inputs because it is not a turbo. Nimble in flight and response to inputs. A handsome design in an age where that mattered more than today. It is fast because of its aerodynamic shape. Very like a Ferrari. It sold well, but nothing like the Cessnas did. Because, like a Ferrari car, it was expensive. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. May 18May 18 Trimmed out, if will cruise level at 134 knots, or slightly more than that at full throttle. Easy to trim because the trim setting of this airplane's config file is set for slow trimming. I have to hold the "trim " rotary encoder lever a long time to trim it level. I think the plane defaults to trim = 17. I trim it down to 4 on the HUD for cruise. Otherwise it flies at only about 80 knots. 5800X3D, RTX4070, 600 Watt, one or two 1440p 32" screens, 64 GB RAM, 4 TB PCle 3 NVMe, Warthog throttle, VKB NXT EVO stick, Honeycomb Alpha yoke, CH quad, 3 Logitech panels, 2 StreamDecks, Desktop Aviator Trim Panel. May 18May 18 Author I'm not sure if this will be seen as cool enough for the usual livery creators but I hope to see some repaints at some point. 9950X3D - X870E Aorus Master- TUF 5090 OC - 64GB DDR5 - 1500W HXi - Titan 360 RX LCD - 9100 Pro x 2 - LG 45GX950A - HOTAS Warthog with Ava Base
May 18May 18 I found this flight test guide for the Falco online.Very Interesting, It describes how pilots used to conventional aircraft will be in for some “ handling shock” with the falco being flown by resting your arm on your leg and just using your fingertips to fly the stick, having very sensitive and light controls. It also mentions how the aircraft has a dual personality, being slick and slippery clean , and then dirty and draggy with the gear and flaps out.So it would seem all the accusations, myself included , of the Falco having twitchy controls are actually all quite accurate to the real aircraft and the developer has done a superb job in capturing the handling of this little sports aircraft.Once again, very interesting. I’m hoping the developer will now ignore all the comments about the aircraft’s twitchy controls, and not be pressured into changing the aircraft’s flight model for popularity, rather than maintaining accuracy . 787 captain. May 18May 18 Not sure if the link to the guide above worked, sorry if not, just google Falco F8L manual, you’ll find it along with the normal flight manual. 787 captain. Previously 24 years on 747-400.Technical advisor on PMDG 747 legacy versions QOTS 1 , FS9 and Aerowinx PS1.
May 18May 18 I love the handling of the Falco addon. I set some curves on my joystick but apart from that, I don't find it twitchy - just responsive and agile. I think it has one of the best FDE for light single pistons in the sim. It's a dream to approach and land because it's so responsive. All I need in order to maintain long-term interest is a slightly more interesting avionics set up and some custom options.
