I bought this to use locally on my MSFS machine, but am having trouble with it continually “losing” the connection to MSFS 2024. I put that in parentheses because behind the “Connecting to MSFS…” message that appears after a couple of minutes, you can see the glass panel continuing to be streamed correctly.

I’ve not seen anyone else mention this on their discord unfortunately.

However, the default FS24 EFB 'tablet' does not seem to work properly with GlassOut - it works only as long as you have the EFB open in-game. If you close the EFB, the EFB on your external tablet or screen freezes. It becomes responsive again when you re-open the EFB in-game.

This is unlike how it works with plane-specific EFBs like that in the Sovereign, where you can hide or close the EFB in-game and still be able to operate it on your tablet/screen with GlassOut.

I will try this with the Comanches tablet. It would be very useful for the GlassOut screen to stay responsive even if the tablet is closed. It would also be great if the gtn750 could be used via my Android tablet while having the old school radio configuration. Not sure if that's possible at the moment.

So far I only get that connecting message when I press escape to go into the sim menus but then when I come back it reconnects. That makes sense to me, but I don't think I've seen the message otherwise.
