BATC Disconnects Just Too Much!

Featured Replies

I don't think I have ever seen a message like that before, and I have been using BATC since the beginning.

Hi Bill, sure, I've just upgraded our broadband to 900Mb/s, so that's not the issue. It's odd because it's the same problem I have always had with this program. As I say, it was the same before in Win10 with MSFS2020. I don't know where to go with this, crazy! BTW, this must be the longest 'early access' product I have ever used!

I've never even heard of BATC disconnecting until your thread here. I have flown with BATC quite a bit over the last year and never had it disconnect. Very strange...very very strange. I'd suggest going to the Discord as was said.

thanks for this post, it thought i'm the only one with this issue :(

can 100% confirm this is a major issue. i cannot do a flight with BeyondATC without the message: The Connection to the BeyondATC Server Process has been lost. Extreme Annyoing i paid for a non working tool with no support by the devs. E-Mail support is saying create a ticket in Discord. Ticket is open since 26.04.2026 some ideas where given, but then the mod told me he cannot do anything we need to wait for a Dev to look at it. this was on the 09.05.2026 so over one month and no response from anyone.

Never going to recommend this tool to anyone if you have problems, no support. Not looking forward when V1 is released and they stop working on it completly, if they already in EA where they need to fix bugs not doing it.

Edit: @Rocky_53 to help you a bit out, if i disable the Live Traffic / Traffic Injection i dont get the disconnect message. Maybe you can try that aswell for your system. But then i dont need BATC, bought it for having Traffic injected to the sim.

So currently im using my Pilot2ATC with Live traffic from the sim itself, its not as good as BATC traffic with the correct voices, but flying without traffic or BATC doesn't know about the injected traffic is also no option. Pilot2ATC atleast seas the injected traffic and tells be to hold short.

Hi matey, relieved (in a good way) to hear I'm not the only one with this issue. It has been suggested, and I have yet to test, that it may be the amount of other apps using simconnect(?) So, I have a raft of apps, FSUIPC, Axis&Ohs, SPAD, Rex Atmos, PropWash radios, Cockpit Simulator bridge software for the CDU and possibly one or two others I have missed. Presumably, all these are using Simconnect at the same time. Do you have a lot of similar addons using Simconnect?

I got a disconnect yesterday when I switched to premium voices so I switched back to local voices. Local voices work fine, no disconnects.

I followed your suggestion Bruce, switched to local voices, and have just completed a flight from KFLL into KATL without a single disconnect! Brilliant. Fingers crossed this is the fix. Thanks for the suggestion.

Wow. I have to admit its been working very well for me of late but I had this disconnection issue for a while myself, certainly within the last year.

It would take ages to load, be there for a few minutes, then it would drop out "Can't connect to server" type message.

I always put it down to an issue on their server side (understanding it's a work in progress) and would just fire up Vatsim instead.

It stopped happening for me around a couple of updates ago.
