This comment doesn't really make sense. SP1 was never going to be native 2024. That was communicated very clearly on the roadmap after initial release. SP1 first, native 2024 next, Max9 and furthe

  • Very happy with this SP1. EFB awesome. Hand flies very nice. Systems seem spot on. Performance really good too. My new Boeing favourite.

Throttles and gear etc work fine. Nothing else currently does. Suspect it’ll need a WinCTRL update.

I'm mostly still flying the PMDG 737, so I'm watching the iFly from a little distance, but steady updates like this are a good sign. For me the interesting part is less the version number and more whether the normal IFR behavior keeps getting tightened up: LNAV/VNAV, approach handling, and the everyday quirks you only see after a few sectors.

WinCTRL works fine here at my first flight after update !

cheers 😉

Following closely as well. Looking to purchase soon. I don't have any 737's at the moment except for the one 737Max8 that is included in the actual sim but no high-end third party 737's at the moment (No PMDG either). This iFly one has my curiosity though. I have their old FSX/FS9 737NG's and they were good. So I will be looking at current review videos.

In flight now in SWA colors, flying from KISP to KATL. sim 2024 version. It's flying and handling very well. My only issue or complaint is the FMC's don't pop out. Bummer because of the great flight model and systems.

RAAS works in 2024 now, nice.

can't wait for a GSX profile update so it will use the air stairs.

I loaded the SW version as you did. Very nice paint.

My issues:

Cannot save a panel state or route.

Cannot use performance data due to being unable to load a RWY. It takes the airport ID, but cannot select a runway. Navigraph is set correctly.

I had a TO2 assumed temp, but when I went TOGA, it reverted to full TO.

LNAV is good as before, but on VNAV, it is hunting up/down for a while.

None of this was experienced with the other version for performance data calculations or VNAV, and, of course, the panel or RTE state was not working before.

If you have time, or if anybody else can check those, it will be greatly appreciated.

I will check back tomorrow, stuck in the real simulator for hours to no end.

Strange. Panel and route saving were tested pretty extensively and seem solid. Not sure what might be going on there.

As far as perf data, did you click the button to read MSFS data for runway information?

Note that selecting takeoff thrust in the EFB is just for calculations; you have to select your thrust rating and assumed temp in the N1 page of the EFB. Reduced thrust takeoffs work correctly.

Curious, 2020 or 2024? Turbulence settings? I've never seen any fishing with VNAV, it's been rock solid since the original re-tune months ago.

I was able to save my panel state. Also, it uploaded my performance data fine. I was able to enter my departure info and arrival data in EFB. Not sure what happened to you, but I would try uninstalling, reboot computer and reinstall, reboot computer. That's what I done initially. Also, I'm using FS22024

Also worth remembering: any time you install a WASM aircraft, it's a good idea to not try to fly it off the first load. Load up on the ground somewhere, and then exit back to main menu and load the flight a second time. This is a best practice for any WASM addon. I once saw a statistic somewhere I can't find now, on what percentage of "weird" bugs happened on a first load vs subsequent flights, and it was significantly higher on first run. (In general for WASM addons; not specific to the iFly which I think wasn't even out at the time).
