The FSL A321 NEO is very well done

Featured Replies

Bit late to the party, and I’ve never flown an airbus in real life, but I really like how these guys make a plane. Maybe one day they’ll get into Boeing. Performance is very good annd doesn’t detract from the overall experience. I also really appreciate how everything is integrated. The amount of detail is outstanding. Haven’t done any abnormals yet, but looking forward to it.

That’s all. Just a praise post.

I honestly don’t see how you say performance is really good. I have it. It’s flyable. But it is demonstrably the worst performing payware airplane I own. And I own a bunch.

If we are still alive when the Fenix version releases....it will surely have better performance and optimization than the FSL NEO.

The biggest complaint about the FSLabs is performance. Struggle with it on a 4090

Strange. I got it yesterday on my travel rig and it performs really well, far better than the original release on my main rig. Granted it's got a 5080 and settings are a combo of off/medium/high.

I have FSL A321Neo and it is huge on performance…

But I don’t have a lot of VRAM maybe (RTX4070 with 12 Go of VRAM)

My Fenix is well more FPS friendly

Leftis posted on 30th May that FSL are working on an update that includes performance improvements, however he also posted on 11th June:

"The performance improvements will come when the modeling turns to 2024 native mode - a longer-term process which I've discussed in the past if you read my previous texts. I will, however, say that the most notable improvement will be if you up your RAM to 64GB which will feel totally different for you - I understand that's not something everyone can subscribe to, at this time, but it's the honest reply."

I have no problem with the FSL on MSFS 2024 with my 8Gb 3060Ti but I don't run extreme simulator settings either. It's all about compromise I guess.

I run 64gb ram with a 4090 already and the fslabs is still the worst performer in my hangar by a mile. Hopefully the 2024 native version will help. But like I said earlier. Even considering all that, the plane is still flyable.
