Cessna 414

Just saw this. My favorite plane is getting an update

## **5. Cessna 414AW Chancellor Native MSFS 2024**

The **Cessna 414AW Chancellor** is also coming to Microsoft Flight Simulator 2024 as a fully native product.

Existing C414 customers will also receive a **$10 upgrade option**.

The native version is planned to include:

* Full MSFS 2024 pre-flight walk-around support
* TruSim Dynamic Dirt Effects
* Native MSFS 2024 features
* Additional fixes and improvements as needed

The C414 has been one of Flysimware’s most popular products, and we know many of you have been waiting for a native MSFS 2024 version.

Our current target is approximately **one month**.

If there is something in the existing C414 that you believe should be improved while we are working on the native version, **let us know!**

Thank you, as always, for supporting Flysimware! ✈️
@everyone

Absolutely! It's in all their other planes now (even the C24R), so hopefully it'll be on their list for the update.

Do you know if it will be enable for the career mode ?

Still hope someone will do a C402. Cape Air is my local airline and they still fly dozens of them.

From my understanding an addon must be 2024 native and purchased in the Marketplace for it to be career compatible. I assume it will eventually come to the MP.

I wonder if this update will add in the missing NAV 2/RNAV radio

What's missing? All the C414 versions have two Nav radios.

I don't see anything on page 6 of the Flysimware C414 manual regarding the Nav2 radio, so not sure what manual you are referring to -- sorry.
However, directly below is a picture of the original panel from the actual IRL C414 that was used as the model for the Flysimware C414. This IRL Nav2 radio is the same one as in the Flysimware C414 GNS 530 panel, which is the second picture below. So Nav2 is not missing. You use the white keyboard to tune Nav2 which in the Flysimware picture just happens to be tuned to 109.1.

Matchstick is in the UK, so cannot see your screenshots, because you used imgur and not PostImages. Imgur is barred in the UK and approximately half of Europe.

This is what we see, for your post:-

JYW: Thanks for the image posting info! I was using ShareX to post images and had no idea there was a restriction -- actually didn't even know ShareX was hosting the images on Imgur.

Matchstick: I reposted the images using PostImages that I tried to post above, hopefully they are now visible to you.

Thanks Ark 👍

Ahh, that box! I confess I've never attempted to use it yet. I noticed with interest that it's labelled as "Nav2/RNAV" and the keyboard makes it look fabulously retro and sophisticated.

@Matchstick - Is this the unit that you were referring to, in being inop?

What's not implemented are some of the "before GPS" RNAV aspects of that RNAV/NAV2 box. However, the NAV2 radio aspect is fully functional.

The RNAV side of it yes.
