September 26Sep 26 I have several of the Black Square aircrafts which I absolutely love. I only have one issue, and that is with their tablets (which I also love!)I find it cumbersome and inconvenient to have to go down to its storage location to open the tablet, which then occupies a large portion of the screen, to then have to return it to its storage location, to give me full visibility. Is there a way I can bind it to a control to toggle it appearing and disappearing? I know I can do that with the MSFS 2024 EFB.Appreciate any help.Happy Flying Edited September 26Sep 26 by SquadronLeader George Westwell
September 26Sep 26 I'm not sure if you can bind a key to make the tablet appear and go back... but there is an option on the BlSq tablet; something like "use static position for tablet". It's on the front page of the options. It moves the tablet position (when it's opened) to the left of the yoke, rather than right in front of your view. I really like this option and use it with all BKSQ planes. September 26Sep 26 Really depends how deep you want to go to do it. I'm not sure if there is a way to do it with the basic sim control menu. But I used spad.next to make it so a button press on my stick brings up or brings down the EFB. So yes theoretically it's possible, just not sure if you want to go that route. 5800X3D, 4090FE, 64GB DDR4 3600C16, Gigabyte X570S MB, EVO 970 M.2's, Alienware 3821DW and 2 22" monitors, Corsair RM1000x PSU, 360MM MSI MEG, MFG Crosswind, T16000M Stick, Boeing TCA Yoke/Throttle, Skalarki MCDU and FCU, Logitech Radio Panel/Switch Panel, Spad.Next
September 29Sep 29 I was going to ask exactly the same question 😃 Seems rather silly not to have an option to bind a button or key press to open something that is so intrinsic within the aircraft. I guess I could move the EFB out of view, as has been suggested, and just use a camera view to access it, but just seems strange. September 29Sep 29 A2A does this by adding it to the EFB so you just have to touch the Tab Key to bring up there tablet. I think all the developers should do this. CPU: Intel i9-11900K @5.2 / RAM: 64GB DDR4 3200 / GPU: 4080 16GB /

If you use any of the popular hardware control software (SPAD.neXt, AxisAndOhs, FSUIPC,...) it's trivial to set up. And again - I realize that's not to everyone's liking, just pointing out that an option does exist.Scott
