    I have a 8800gt card and I followed nickn directions on using nhancer and I do not have much of a problem with blurries. I did take a small frame rate hit but the sim is very smooth. You must follow his directions exactly. It helped me a lot. keith

    If you are using win7 then go to the win7 forum there is a sticky post there that will tell you how to add scenery. keith

    If you want to make a flight plan you can do that in the flight planner. If you want to use 3rd party plans on win7 you export them to Documents flight simulator x files. Make sure the are in pln format. most third party planers like fsbuld will export them to the right directory in the proper format. keith

    Thanks for the help. I installed a system backup. That got rid of the side by side error. But I had other errors and could not get fs to run. So uninstalled fsx and all my addons. Now it works but I guess I will spend today reinstalling all the addons. I still don't know what caused the problem. I had all the fs since fs4. That is the first time I had that error. The good news is I wanted to move fsx to another drive anyways :( thanks again keith

    Most Extreme Airports is a new show on the History Channel. It airs on July 20 at 8pm et. It looks like it might be a neat show. I guess I will watch it and see. keith

    This is a nice plane but I have yet to be able to land it. When ever I start to decend fsx crashes. I have know idea what the problem is. I even reinstalled windows. I posted over on there forum but got no response. I'm hopeing there hot fix will fix the problem because I do like the plane. I have the pmdg j-41 and have no problems with it. keith

    You should get better then that. I have a stock E6600@2.66 and I get about 20-25 at the airport cloud9 kmco with the stock aircraft and about 15 fps with the J-41. In the air I get 40+. That is with the sliders about 3/4. And ai at 50%. keith

    Miquel what type of frame rates did you get with the 8600? I'm thinking about updating my e6700 to a e8600. thanks keith

    please help. I need some advice. I want to upgrade the cpu in my computor. What I want to know is which one of these cpu's would run fs better. A q9550@2.83 or a e8500@3.16 They are almost the same price and my mobo will support both. All I use the computor for is to surf the net and fs. thanks! keith

    HI Ijust bought the J41. I have allways been a two d panel guy. But the J41 is only a VC panel. Iam thinking of getting that trackir. What I would like to know is what is the differance between the 4 and the 5. thanks keith

    I agree. Flightsimulator is the only program I run that requires windows. I will keep this computor going for fsx but my next computor is going to be a mac. No more windows headaches!!! keith
