    I just installed a new hard drive and video card on my system and reinstalled Windows XP. It I got it reactivated on line with no problem. So I don't think a reformat with fsx would be a problem. Now a new computor my be. keith:-beerchug

    Just a note I have G.E. pro and it does not have water textures. It has sky and ground textures. keith

    I don't think the program is that hard to use but the manual could be a lot better for those of us in mid life:-lol. I would like to see step by step how to start the program with and without active sky. I have it figured out now but it took a little while and reading the forms. The idea of importing flightplans is a great idea. keith

    make sure you give it enough time. I have a download file of some bad weather at kclt and it can take 6 or 7 min. before it is fully loaded. keith

    I have my aa set at 2Qx in the driver cp. You cannot set it to more then 4x or you have problems in fs9. I use the 81.98 drivers. Any drivers newer give me problems. you should not need much aa with the high res. you are using. I run 1280x960. keith

    You may want to check your aa setting Nvida cards somtimes have this problem if you go higher then 4x. keith:-beerchug

    If you have a nvida card make sure you have aa set to 4 or lower. This is a know problem with nvida video cards if the aa is set to higher then 4. keith:-beerchug

    Hi I did the exact same upgrade. I had problems to untill I installed the 8.1.9.8 drivers. If you have not tried these give them a try. They are the only drivers so far that I been able to get to work with my 6600gt. keith:-beerchug

    Yes. I have a Audigy2 and use my ch yoke with it. You may have to load the drivers that go with the joystick. keith:-beerchug

    Thanks for the reply. I guess the installer did not in stall it. But I was able to extract it from the zip file with winzip. Now all I have to do is read it!:-lol thanks keith

    I know this is most likely a stupied question but were does the installer put the manual? I just thought I would take a look at it before I try to fly the L1011.:- thanks keith

    do you by chance have myfstools installed? This for some reason gives the gear disagree warning. I don't know why. keith

    I have the same problem. I just did not know that myfstools was the cause. keith
