  1. Hi Fred,I take your point about " Things" not working correctly on new aircraft, but I doubt verymuch any aircraft, Boeing or otherwise is delivered with with the issuethat is being discussed here. :smile:I just can't get my head round the fact, that if everyone is using the same download/base model installer, why do some people get temperature readings & others don't. :Thinking:Cheers,Paul.
  2. Hi Aaron,There seems to be temperature issues with certain individuals,me being one of them.I have had a friend carry out landings with his PMDG AircraftSame AirportSame AircraftSame Fuel LoadSame Passenger/Cargo LoadSame Time of DaySame Weather/TemperatureSame Landing SpeedSame AutobrakesAlso Manual Braking Normal & HardHe has temperature readings showing by the time he pulls up on stand & they continue to increasewhile on stand. But my Aircraft remains at ZERO Temp no matter how long I park it up for (30-45mins)The only time I get any sort of rise in Temp, is extreme high landing speeds & then immediateRTO's.Even then it is only in the low temperature range.http://forum.avsim.n...__fromsearch__1I can't beleive that a real 737 landing, regardless of weight, does not create a temperature riseof some sort.CheersPaul.
  3. Sorry Will,I should have said before, but I already have carried out a full re-installof the whole NGX series.
  4. Yes I know, but that's as high as the readings get to after 20 mins. A friend tried to replicate my scenario above, & his temp readings increased to 4+ in less time than that. Paul
  5. Hi Guys,Would anyone have any suggestions as to why the brake temperature readingsmy 6/7/8 & 9 series are barely increasing.I have had this problem since the first SP came out,& even after SP1bthe fault still is occuring.Since day one, like so many others on here I had problems with the Temp readingsgoing off the scale with little brake use.But since SP1 that has been reversedto a very slight increase.Test example, Fully loaded Aircraft ,landing @ 180kts full manual braking to a full stop (No other assists)immediate 180 turn on the Rwy,full throttle to 140Kts & standing on the brakes againto a full stop.Brake Temperature reading displays MAX (1.4 & 1.5 )??Normal braking after any landing the readings are always (0) Steel brakes selected BTW.Thanks in advance,Paul.
  6. DJ,Thanks for your reply, but on the PC I have running FSX,the folder, "My DocumentsFlight Simulator Files" does not exist. As for the other folder "My DocumentsFlight Simulator X Files"All files in there are previously saved flights from within FSX itself. The only folder I seem to be able to use is "CFSXFlight Simulator X Files"& FSBuild is not sending flightplans to that folder.Paul.
  7. Hi,Am having problems importing flightplans into ASE,I am using FSBuild to create the plans & send to thevarious other programmes. The plans are being sent that is not a problem, but ASE is selective in what it will import!!Example:-Flightplan"EDDSEGLL.PLN"The above plan will not import into ASE (From the PC Running ASE )But the same plan "EDDSEGLL.PLN" on the networked PCrunning FSX & located in Flight Simulator X Files, will import into ASE without any issues?BTW,Both the above plans were created using FS Commander.I can't get Anything to work with ASE, using FSBuild. Is there something I am missing? Or couldsomeone please give a step by step guide as to how toget the correct format, to allow ASE to Import plans from FSBuild. Many Thanks,Paul.
  8. Hi Damian,Just to follow on from Ralfs post,it's probably ME, but I too am having this problem.Visability on the ground less than 1 mile (Can't see a thing)but if I climb to around 4-5000ft & fly overhead the airport,it can be seen clear as day. Not very realistic Settings in Visibility Options Are,Fog layer Generation (Checked)Disable Haze Layer (Unchecked)Graduation Ceiling (8000)Minimum Surface Vis (0)Maximun Surface Vis (100)Maximum Upper Vis (60)Any help appreciated.Thank you,Paul.
  9. David, on the first landing I was using brake pedals to apply the brakes& the brakes were working as I taxied in.It was when I tried to stop at thegate there was nothing & I continued on through the building. A bit embarrasing when online with ATC :-) I will play about with the settings you have pointed out & se if it makesany difference. Many thanks.
  10. Yep I also am having issues with the brakes, flew into EGSS today touched down Rwy22 at approx 150kts manual braking, reverse thrust & spoiler deployed, exited onto the second high speed turn off & taxied to the gate only to find out that I had no brakes. Temperature was reading (10 Amber) on the display. I had two failures (BRAKE FAIL & EXCESSIVE BRAKE TEMP). Did another flight ths evening to LGAV,this time using Autobrake 1 with Rev & spoilers & about the same landing speed, another (10 Amber) temp display & yet another fail warning (EXCESSIVE BRAKE TEMP). This don't seem right at all,I wouldn't have called that excessive braking & certainly didn't expect a failure.!!
  11. Hi Matthew,I am having the same sort of issues,I put a ticket in last night about it!!The NGX has performed with out any real issues for most of the first week. But on Saturday past I started having difficulty connecting to SB,had the IP on the bottomleft of the SB screen but No transmitting Frequency on the bottom right. Also at the same time I have lost the abillity to change frequency on my Goflight radio panels, although the radios do change inside the NGX when using it's tuning dials. The other strange thing that is happening now,is if I don't run FSX as administrator Iam unable to select the NGX without FSX crashing to desktop. BTW I am running SB networked on a second computer. Very strange?
  12. Just your 2nd Joe? I hope you have a 10 glass bottle handy.
