  1. Awesome! Just picked up Calgary. Cheers, Pete
  2. I’ll keep buying. I’m confident enough about the backward compatibility, and I just picked up the new ESSA yesterday. I’ve got some sale airports in my Simmarket cart too. I can’t help myself. Cheers, Pete
  3. I don’t think most people are all that concerned about paying for the upgrade. The biggest concern it seems, by far, is backwards compatibility. If someone from MS can put that concern to bed, there will be a lot less anxiety. Speculation only creates more concern. Cheers, Pete
  4. I grew up in Northeast NJ, and moved to Northern Illinois (Chicagoland) after college which is where I did my flight training. I fly almost exclusively passenger jet routes, and probably a bit more in the Northeast US (between the DC and Boston Megalopolis) and the northern Midwest. However, I have too many large airport addons to count, so I still fly all over the country. Cheers, Pete
  5. Wow! What a pleasant surprise. I’ll have to pick this up tonight. Cheers, Pete
  6. Thanks! I didn't even think of that. I will give this a shot. Cheers, Pete
  7. You can't make this up. In the middle of updating to the new ATR in MSFS, I had a very brief power outage yesterday. After this, I can't get past the "checking for updates" screen in MSFS. Any ideas? Cheers, Pete
  8. Update: Just completed the same flight after reverting back to Driver 531.68, and the flight was flawless. Not ever a stutter. This was departing Pyreegue EGAC and arriving at MK EIDW V2, also with Dublin city scenery from Orbx. Clearly, it was the latest driver. Cheers, Pete
  9. Yep, I am right now reverting back to the .68 driver. I will test the same flight shortly. Cheers, Pete
  10. I was even wondering if it was related to the new driver. Very strange. Cheers, Pete
  11. I just realized someone else posted about this right after. this is puzzling. Cheers, Pete
  12. This is exactly what I started getting just a few days ago. I just started a new topic before I saw this. Cheers, Pete
  13. Hello - Not sure what's going on. but over the last few days, I can't complete a flight without a CTD at some point before arrive. I rarely over got these up until now. Just now, in PMDG 737, enroute from EGAC to EIDW, about 20 miles from EIDW. I am not sure what is going on, but hardware shouldn't be an issue. Any ideas? Here are my specs: Intel Core i7-11700F @ 2.50Ghz, Nvidia GeForce RTX 3060 @12GB, 32GB RAM DDR4, and no overclocking. I'm using the latest GeForce Game Ready Driver 531.79. Thanks in advance. Cheers, Pete
  14. I wonder if Simple Traffic is the issue. I have no traffic issues at any other airports, and I have a ton of payware airports because I suffer from a Flight simulator spending disorder! Cheers, Pete
  15. This is great, thanks! I will give this a shot. I use Aerosoft Simple Traffic, so I am not sure if that is the issue or not. It looks like the creator has pull this file from Flightsim.to. Cheers, Pete
  16. Got it, thanks! I wonder if they will add LTFM in one of the updates? I am honestly surprises they haven't done this yet. Cheers, Pete
  17. I have the SceneryTR new Istanbul Airport, and I am not seeing any Traffic at the airport, neither at the gates nor on the runways. I use Aerosoft Simple Traffic, which works great for my purposes at every other airport. Any ideas as to how to get the traffic to populate at LTFM? Cheers, Pete
  18. I got to fly on a Dash 8 back in the 90’s, but never had the opportunity to fly on the ATR. American Eagle had a bunch of these and I live outside of Chicago, and yet somehow never got on one of these birds. Cheers, Pete
  19. Thanks! That’s pretty cool. Cheers, Pete
  20. Pardon my ignorance, but what is that program in his video with the toolbar at the top and that dial he keeps popping up on the screen? Cheers, Pete
  21. Outstanding! Great city too. Cheers, Pete
  22. JustSim and LatinVFR both have LEBL. I have the LVFR version and it’s very good in my opinion. Cheers, Pete
