  3. Have you considered creatin a .torrent file for it, to save bandwith for you?I have missed out on the download before it was pulled and am spewingRegards
  4. Installed in the AFCAD2 directory you chose to install the program is a file "ReadMe.htm" which provides a detailed guide ti using all AFCAD2 features, including creating new airportsRegards
  5. Jeff Stanyer from Vic-Sim.com did a VTP tutorial some time back, for creating blended ground polys for a similar look to default airport polys. I have it, but not sure exactly where, but it gave a really helpful explanation to create them using AFW, SCASM, and BGLC. I dont know if this is a backward step, or would give as equivalent a result as any XML method.Try contacting Jeff through Vic-Sim for more infoRegardsBryan
  6. AlbertovoladorSimwings Madrid-Barajas 2004 scenery sounds suitable. Given that you have "placed all the buildings in the annotator but when I started the fs2004... it only appeared few buildings". It sounds like you may have your autogen slider [Options;Settings;Display;Autogen density] set to something less than it could be. Try setting Autogen density to Extremely dense [fully to the right] and see if that makes a difference to what is displayed. Hopefully this should reveal all of the annotations you have applied.Regards
  7. RobinI get the idea that what Albertovolador seeks to do is to alter texture files with annotator to better represent the Spanish towns in his area. Wouldn't your suggested approach alter only generic texture files, thereby affecting the appearance of those tiles wherever they were placed on the globe. I wonder whether the result Albertovolador would like to achieve, would require modification of [and generation of .AGN files for] custom photorealistic texture files for the particular areas he wants to change???Wouldn't a better approach be to make landclass usage changes, for example with EZ-Landclass or similar program?Regards

  11. Hey all ProjectAI site is back upRegards
  12. g'dayThat site seems to be down at the moment. It shows up in Google, but got "Could not locate remote server" error in Opera, similar in IE. Hope it is temporary outage.Regards
  13. >I will certainly restore it, but not in its old forum. All recent >forum posts are lost anyway (I think I can recover most tricks and >tutorials, but the forum was very valuable as well).ArnoI did a backup of your site on May 16 using TeleportPro so that I could read your site on night shift (off-line). I think it has most, if not all of the recent forum posts and virtually everything else from site up until that date [about 640MB]. It is viewable in browser from a CD. I have dial-up, so I couldn't realistically upload it anywhere, but I could snail-mail a copy to you on CD if you want. How long from Oz to Netherlands? Is it worth it?
  14. Found this more recent thread in FS2004 forumshttp://www.fs2004.com/forums/index.php?sho...=0entry123480Sort of suggests end of MayRegards

  16. I have just noticed this thread... a bit late... but saw a reply to a similar Q where the respondent had mailed Lee Swordy, who estimated an update target sometime in MayHope there is
  17. Jeffrey Stanyer has done a great tutorial "VTP Polygons for Dummies" takes you through process of creating a blended VTP airfield polygon using FSSC [similar to AFW], some batch files he includes with the tute, BGLC.exe and Notepad for editing. It is so simple even the technically challenged can easily give their scenery projects a professional finish. It's available at http://home.iprimus.com.au/jstanyer/FS2K2/...ly_tutorial.rarHope Jeff doesn't mind link to his FS page.
  18. Hi Holger,Thanks for your encouragement. This may be the first request for an area of Australia. Time to give G2K4 a whirl. Thes coords are for the area around Walpole/Denmark in SW corner of Western Australia.NW cnr S 34* 15' - E116* 40'SE cnr S 35* 10' - E117* 40'If possible, I would like 15 m greyscale and 30m false colour if possible. ECW compression should be OK, downloading PSP plug-in nowRegardsBryan Jenkins
  19. Does Patch Ground2K4 V5.33 [ground2k4_patchv5_33.zip] on Avsim File library the correct and most current update for ground2k4_v51.zip ? It has been a while since I have used or installed G2K4 and I have lost track :-hmmm
  20. DickThis file no longer available. Is there somewhere else we can download this zip file from?Regards

  22. JasonI hope that adding the address of the new Western Australian Flight Sim forum has helped to direct a few mor people to this great new site. Even though it has started slowly, it will pick up.Good Luck
  23. JasonYou forgot to tell the people where to find this forum.Check it out at:http://www.gargavar.com/phpBB2/index.php
  24. >I've been trying to add library objects at my airport using>the BGLCOMP_SDK with the GUIDs supplied in the excel document.>I am able to place buildings such as the mall, etc but not any>of the airport buildings marked AMS, DFW or CDW. If I load>them, I don't get any building at all at the location I>specify (same place where the mall and gas station appeared>properly).>> Is there any limitation in using the GUIDs to specify>buildings you want to place at a particular location? Has>anybody found any decent airport buildings in the list? Any>help greatly appreciated. As far as I can gather draken246 these are region specific scenery objects. They are coded only to appear in certain locations or regions.
  25. I recall seeing a thread that contained a list of FS texture file formats and their corresponding file sizes. I think it was on this forum, but not sure and cannot find. Can anyone point me in the right direction. I have been playing with some macro textures in PSP and dont know what format to save them in.TIABryan
