  1. One way of displaying Nav2 info on the left side would be to place the VHF navigation source selector switch to 'Both on 2'. This switch is on the Navigation source panel located on the overhead behind the fuel and display source panel.

  3. Hi A question to any of the developers/beta testers of the PMDG 777. Will the functioning of the parking brakes in this addon mirror that of the real aircraft? My meaning is that in the actual 777, the parking brakes are applied by the pilots first applying toe brake pressure and then pulling up the parking brake lever to 'set' them to park. Will it also properly simulate the release of the brakes and have annimated toe brakes in the virtual cockpit? Great work on this addon btw, it looks awsome already and I can't wait to fly it!   5. I was thinking more like the actual amount an airline would have to pay, otherwise it wouldn't be realistic. Still on the positive side it would be a lot les than the $165 million PMDG had for the base product on their site!
  6. Now I don't wanna start putting ideas into RSR's head, but will PMDG increase the realism factor even more by charging customers for the replacement of those blown tires and damaged landing gear components?!
  7. I have another question regarding UTX, does using FTXG with UTX in any way affect the coastline scenery textures such as beaches?! I say this because on the preview screenshot of Miami posted by John Venema does not show Miami beach at all.   8. Just a thought for another feature, not massively important so it could wait until a service pack is released! How about linking Ground Operations to the airport jetways so when you start the turnaround it would initiate the docking of the airbridge to the passenger door?! It could work by simulating a 'key press' of whichever key controls jetway docking in fs (default is Shft-J) You could also have an option for which passenger door to open at turnaround e.g door 1L or 2L or both? There could also be a short time delay of about 2-3 mins ( user adjustable ) to allow the airbridge time to dock before the doors open? All controlled through the CDU! Would be interested to know PMDG's thoughts on this idea!? Great work btw on this new 777, it's looking good! Regards Andrew Harrison

  10. No of course I didn't know this otherwise I wouldn't have asked this question. Like I said I'm not a real pilot, but most of my simming experience is on the 747 which does require hydraulics to work the trim. I was just wrongly assuming that was the same in the 737 obviously as it moves the whole tailplane as does the 744. If it's electric it must require some decent power then?! :)
  11. Hi, I couldn't help but notice that when I was on the ground with all the hydraulic pumps turned off I was still able to adjust the trims as if I had full hydraulic power?! I'm no expert on the 737 NG, but I always thought that to use the stab trim you needed to have at least one hydraulic system pressurised?! I do know that this is indeed the case on the 747-400 as I have a lot of sim experience on the type, including being a pilot for UK Worldflight for the past 4 years. Surely with a tailplane the size of the 737's it would need power to move it?

  13. Just thought that I'd mention a little something that I noticed on the second video. During the approach I was watching the radio altimeter readout, and noticed that the altitude callouts were sounding 10 feet above the actual altitude it was suppost to......e.g at 510 feet it would say 500 and 410 it would sound 400 .......Should the callouts be at the exact altitudes on the displays?Other than that, a very good job! :)

This is my first post on the avsim forum, and I recently purchased the quiet brilliant St Maarten scenery by Fly Tampa, and wanted to do a supersonic transatlantic trip in an Air France Concorde from Paris. However I don't have much information regarding a realistic flight plan specifically for the Concorde on this route, as I understand a real Concorde has actually flown there. Any help would be much appreciated. Regards Andrew
