  1. ............@ 20-August-2010 the 747-400LCF release.Me thinks Mr. Byork has no option but to give us a FS2Crew 747 freighter version. :( Or he'll have a bunch of simming Red-necks at his door with blunt farming objects and tourches. :( Golli.
  2. Thanks for the reply's guys. @ Mr. dazz: in your signature you have, more or less, the system I'm shooting for (minus 1090T) What kind of FPS are you getting from this system ?? And with what add-on's ??Are there no memory speed advantages to be had from the 1090T ??Thanks in advanceGolli
  3. Good day FSX experts. As there is a $100.00 difference between these two CPU's, I was wondering does FSX ever use 6 Cores (let alone 4)??My line of thinking is to get the Crosshair lV Formula and a Phenom 965(@4.0 Ghz) and use it with my GTX 285. Does that sound resonable ??I think an i7 system is far to expensive for me.Thanks in advance.Golli
  4. I'm happy to hear that this version is out. And congratulations Mr. York.I just wanted to remind you that one good way of spreading the word, is youtube. I'd love to see this version in proper use on youtube.Looking forward to the button version.Golli.
  5. Any chance of getting a freighter SOP's in the PMDG 747F ??Golli
  6. Cosy-ing up to Boeing looses half it's value, if PMDG dont make her. :( Golli
  7. Thank you Subs.Look forward to getting it.Golli.
  8. Thanks for a quick reply.I dont own X Graphics yet. I'm trying to establish what I want for FSX. I went so overboard with my FS9 setup (am in the process of going over to FSX) so I
  9. Good day HiFi people. I have a question regarding the Airports Textures Screen in X Graphics;Do these textures apply to default airports only or do I also owerwrite textures in add-on airports???This question also apply's to the lights. Thanks in advance.Golli.
  10. "Personally I am fascinated by longer flights, just finished a Hong Kong-Paris cycle yesterday;0)"Yes it is fun to plan for such a flight, deal with the weather & traffic along the way, and reach your destination with the correct amount of fuel left. Not on fumes and not with 30tonnes either.Golli.
  11. This is interesting to know, which version of the T7 PMDG are shooting for, if not all. In a perfect world we'd get all 4, currently produced versions of the T7 and maybe that is what PMDG are doing. However, if they take the LDS approach (do only one version of a type) my prefference would be in this order:1. 777-200ER2. 777-300ER3. 777-200LRF4. 777-200LRWould be nice to have 3-class versions of the PAX models.Golli.
  12. For the one in between Jetstream & NGX, Please consider making the 747 Freighter variant, remooving the "reserved" status :( Golli
  13. Took me weeks to find the stick in the FS9 MD-11 :( Golli
  14. Good day.Could you add:WestfaliaA German Virtual Airline.Thanks.Golli.
  15. This is good to hear. Might I ask, do you use any weather engine, traffic & PMDG airplanes ??As I never fly on-line, I'm thinking of getting the new Ultimate Traffic 2. It is done from the ground up, specially for FSX and the Avsim review states; none or very little FPS impact.Golli
  16. This post, is a typical example of the posts that are scaring the cr*p out me regarding the upgrade. This setup should drive FSX like crazy. But I have ordered FSX, should have it in my hands this weekend.Golli
  17. I've been looking at what is available to me and reasonable priced: A 775 systemCPU-Q9650 (anyone know the clocking potential??)MOBO-Asus Intel P45 boardMemory-2 or 4 gb of 1066 (CL5 (5-5-5-15)). I could swing this in few weeks. But I'm not even close to the i7 platform.Golli
  18. Jeeezzz.........and it's not been 6 hours since, I said on this forum, that I'm not interested in the NGX :( I'm getting her!!!!!!I'm feeling a lot better about porting my brain over to FSX.Golli
  19. Thanks for you reply Turbine777.I will take your advice and get FSX and try it out. I've read so much about "water cooling i7 rigs" and all kinds of stuff so I'm more confused, than anything else.I'll stop reading and try it. Thanks.Golli
  20. OK guys, throw me a bone here. After the PMDG announcement of ending FS9 development, I have literally dug myself into reading about FSX. For the first 2 years of FSX's life I thought it was (and I'm being polite here), moronic to invest in it, as the hardware requirments were absurd. Now, even 2 years after that I am seeing all over, that people are still having trouble running it with various Quad cores and whatnot. Yesterday, when I read Mr. Randazzo's (FS9) statement, I thought: "sure by now I can run FSX smoothly on my AMD6400+ dual core & GTX260 & DDR2 800". My System is running FS9 on average 35fps dropping to 15fps, on rare occasions. All sliders to the right and filled with eyecandy add-on's. Is running FSX with this system, a childish notion on my part??? I've been dead set against FSX, until yesterday and SO MUCH want to get into this new FSX world and make it work. But here in my country a i7920 + mobo + RAM would cost me a whole months pay!! Not to mention I have over $2.000 worth in FS9 add-on's, accumulated for 4 years.I sure hope I can run FSX with my system. I want the PMDG Jetstream and B777 so bad :( Golli
  21. A Cr*p, :( Thanks for looking into it though. Now, to what museum can I donate 6.2 Gb of raw metar files .................???Golli.
  22. Good day people. As I'm researching FSX I'm a bit pussled over this Acceleration Pack. Does it do anything for the framerates??And furthermore, does FSX use all 4 cores on a quad core, after SP2 ???Thanks in advance.Golli.
