  6. Yeah, what Chock said. One o the most beautiful airplanes ever built. Patrick, I'm going to disagree with you on this one. If I remember correctly--and exact model-- the Mk IV was armed with .303 caliber guns, the same caliber as the British rifles of that era. The airplane needed to be extremely close (think 50 feet or so) in order to deal a real punch. That did change as things went along though.

  15. I did that a couple of months ago in a King Air. Everything buffed right out--no biggie. LOL Of course mine was two miles short of the runway and on soft sand. LOL again Glad I ain't the onliest one. Fun (if you ain't the one doing it).

  18. Some years ago I lived near Galesburg IL, at that time the home of the yearly Stearman gathering. Beautiful shots, beautiful airplane.
