Rude. If you require proof. All of the issues can be seen in this stream... -

Ah ok so self rotating at the correct trim and a jerk when engaging AP all within the first seconds of taking off and using stock autopilot that can barely follow a route without zig zagging are all completely normal? There’s much more but I’m not going to list every fault. -

No I have no idea what the FSX model was like. I usually fly in XPlane and real life. IR multi rated. It’s so far from realistic. The simulator looks fantastic but that’s about as far as it goes. -

I don’t see how it’s a good sign, the aircraft is very far from being decent. The AP is thoroughly messed up. The flight dynamics in MSFS are whacked too - it needs a lot of work. -
Would really appreciate it if someone with the original installer could send it my way. Had my hard drive fail and now have no AI on Carson, total game ruined! AIG is awfully difficult to get up and running. thanks so much

What happens to the Alpha and Beta testers now?
benh320 replied to jlund's topic in Microsoft Flight Simulator (2020)
Glad to have it removed from my hard drive. It's not as good as you may think. Awful performance and terribly unrealistic flight dynamics. The two things I care about most. -

There are actually quite a few reports of stuttering caused by using the latest version of FSUIPC on the FSLabs forum. Rolling back to .122 fixed the issue for me. Ben Hewitt

Amazing Captain and a lovely lady, had the pleasure of flying as part of her crew a few times.

Prepar3D Tweak Assistant (PTA)

Hello the link is broken to download, could you please fix it our send it to me? Many thanks Ben -
Hi guys, great job, really love the program. Just two problems, it seems to have introduced some micro stuttering to my sim, I get the same FPS just slight stuttering now (tested with and without) - any suggestions? Also can not get the in sim menu to work properly, click down my middle mouse button and the menu shows fine but can not select anything else apart from what is shown by default - I have tried using mouse scroll over everything but the menu won't scroll. Problem 1 Had the same problem at the start of 3 flights. Different weights, airports, SIDs so that doesn't seem to be the problem. Basically take off as normal, arm LNAV/VNAV a few seconds after departure all is well until after a few mins (probably around 5/6000ft) I go direct to a waypoint using the FMC. Basically the autopilot doesn't know what to do it just keeps turning left until bank angle aural sounds and keeps banking! I have to disconnect the autopilot, then select HDG SEL and then LNAV again and all is good for the rest of the flight! very strange behavior - only even happens straight after departure so not sure what the problem in is!. It has nothing to do with my controller - all perfectly calibrated. Using AS2012 - never seen this on any other aircraft. Problem 2: VNAV arrival, had a last min change of arrival runway into BOS last night about 50nm before T/D so made the change and it totally screwed up VNAV to show that my VDEV was minus what my actual flight level was at the time so if I was at 36000ft my VDEV was -36000ft ! very strange. It also wanted to reduce my speed to 212kts at 36000ft! Nothing I could do could resolve the issue - deleting all the altitude and speed constraints, making new ones, copying route to RTE2 then activating - my VNAV was totally unusable for the whole descent! Weirdly enough the FMC showed the correct value it was just the autopilot and ND that were way off! Few pics of the VNAV prob: [url=http://s11.photobucket.com/user/benhewitt_sun/media/1-6.jpg.html][/url Cheers Ben

Do we give up on realism by staying with FS9 ?
benh320 replied to jfri's topic in The FS2004 (FS9) Forum
I'm more for simulation rather than eye candy, one of the main reasons I'm sticking with FS9 - it feels better and my frames do not drop below 40 with LVD767 (basically the only thing I fly) with a two monitor setup. With a one monitor setup, default aircraft I get the same performance in FSX but throw in another monitor and a complex aircraft and I get half the performance - it's just choppy and messy ! FS9 looks better IMO - less cartoony and with all the addons I have it looks 1000% better than default FSX. -
If anybody has this file could they please upload it or send it to me? 737 CFM56 " the real deal " version 2. ( 737_cfm56__the_real_deal_version_2.zip)It was lost in the hack and I really want it again! Thanks a lot

I can't stress this enough for anyone using REX...

+2 You are doing something very wrong if you think it's the worst addon.I see no difference with your settings, as already said anything over 4 does absolutely nothing.
