All, I still hope to have professionally done dispatches for B-738 is anyone wants a copy. I will post as SOON as Mike Collier is back in town and he can get to it. He said he was going to try to stay "one leg ahead of me" in dispatching for this event. lol Hope he can!

I will try to join as many legs as I can. Time to prep tonight! LOL P.S....I am going to try and get Mike Collier to do B-738 dispatches for me. I can post the files when i receive them if anyone is interested, check here later! he is a real-world dispatcher for USAir for those that don't know him, and uses a "beta" program we will be using for MidCon Airlines when we come back online later this year. I'll post the releases later if he can do them all for me.

I will have to check tonight, but all of these fields are capable of B-738 landing and takeoff right? I saw that is the "official" flying bird, I wanna make sure i can make it in there as well, otherwise may have to pull out my Mustang private jet. Will be using "AVSIM4" as my callsign.

The improvement I am thinking of is a newer AM3+ motherboard, currently on an AM2+, so a newer board would be quicker. Same for more memory and faster DDR3 memory, currently using DDR2. Same story for video....cores wasn't the issue, I'm not replacing the CPU.

Hey all, I am going to try and ramp up my rig a bit in the coming month to months. My choke point on my rig right now IS the MB and RAM.....so I figured I'd ask the people I know best. I'll post this in the hardware forum also. LOL The board I have now RUNS the CPU I have, but I am sure I can get faster with an AM3+ board. Which do you all recommend? I am going to undo the Matrox and go SLI; use Nvidia's "surround" to push 3 screens. Should I get another of what I have or 2 new cards or ONE beefier card? The idea is 3-wide again on screens. Memory, I am going to go to 8GB. Maybe even 16. Mushkin or crucial still good names? About it for now. The idea is to reuse AS MUCH as I can; try to get away with ONLY buying a new MB, RAM and either a second video card of like make or a newer, beefier card. Thanks in advance....and keep it "cheap" please! LOL (but not so cheap that it's worthless! Target sim is FSX....I offload weather programs to a laptop via network, so the only thing running when I fly is FSX and VATSIM on Squakbox. Thanks!

What they ALL said above, but don't be scared of it. HAVE FUN on there, just simulate a flight in the real world, think of it that way. Real rules, real procedures, there is a varrying degree on VATSIM of course, but bottom line is they are ALL there for the same thing, to have fun and enjoy their hobby. If you want a wing-mate lemme know, I can find some time to either lead or follow you on the route. Been wanting to get an AVSIM group flight together, this might be the chance.

They were CH, pro pedals....just been around a while is all, they are still dependable as hell.

So my pedals have died....it's been forever since I flew without pedals, and I don't really have the funds right now to buy another set....does anyone know of a CHEAP set for sale, or how to tell me to fly without them again? thanks all.

I've used AS since early on and have never bothered to switch. I like the weather it produces and for me it just works. I guess I am a little biased, but that's my $0.02 :)

no there was a server-side install update, to our end, not yours. I just installed it, so we have the latest version on the servers now.
