It downloaded at a pretty constant 2.2mbs for me. The entire download of all three files took about 1 hour and 20 minutes.

I have no idea what politics has to do with it. If LM is thinking of laying off thousands that might affect our simulator. Politics has no place in this discussion.

I use a number of programs across my network (REX, Super Traffic Board, Plan-G etc.) using Simconnect to P3D on the host and no problems of any kind so far. Been using it with P3D for 5 months now.

I use MTX 5.4a with P3D and it works just fine. I don't really notice any FPS loss of significance but you should expect some minor loss just due to the number of aircraft, scheduling etc. You might talk with Burkhard (the author of MTX) over on his forum; http://forum.simflig...c-for-prepar3d/ I am pretty sure that UT2 does work in P3D. Just do as Ian says above and MTX will work fine in P3D.

I tried it this morning. A very, very preliminary test indicates it works and works across my network.

Has anyone tried to use RC4 with Prepar3D?

I have both of them and they are great. Tom's support of his products is second to none.

I have WideClient, IYP and RC4 running on my client PC and using the headphones/mic on the client also. No problems at all. Really takes a burden off of the host computer running FSX.I do have IYP and RC4 on the host PC but I do not run them from there at all. If I remember correctly you will have to get a new id code from JD to install RC4 on the client.

That is a known problem with version 1.2 and LM will fix it in the next release (don't know when that will be). Just click cancel and it will return to windows.

I'm a moron! I had some time this morning to mess with it. I got locked into File > Options > Locations and forgot to go to File > Options > FS Connection and change it to FSUIPC. Works fine now.Do the plans I created for FSX work in X-Plane?, I suspect not but thought I would ask.

Thanks Tim. I have not had a chance to get back to it (Health issues with the Wife), I will try on Wednesday.Thinking about it I may very well have screwed up and forgot to remove "simconnect" as the method in Plan-G and reset it to FSUIPC. That would certainly explain it. I'll find out Wednesday.

The XPUIPC client showed connected to the server.I have not worked with it for a couple of days, I hope to get back to working on it tomorrow.

You did'nt change anything in the Plan-G Options > Locations? If I try it that way I get a connect error from Plan-G. I have not tried it on the Main machine, I am trying it across my network from a client.

I just purchased my RC a few days ago. It took about 24 hours to get my registration email. Hang on! it will show up.

Never Mind the below, I just found the "Active" command in Showtext was not enabled.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- I am a very new user to RC. I have RC installed on my FSX computer and it works fine. My only problem is the menu commands being displayed by RC. I am 72 years old with very bad eyesight and simply cannot make out the prompts with the red text from RC. I have a full installation of FSUIPC/WIDEFS (Latest versions) on my network and they work fine communicating with each other (i,e, Plan-G and others across network work fine using WIDEFS and have been working for some time). I downloaded Showtext.exe and placed it on the client PC. I start WIDEFS on the client and FSUIPC on the FSX computer shows the connection with WIDEFS on the client. Showtext on the client does not display any data/text/menu coming from RC on the FSX computer. I tried turning off Multi-Messages etc. in FSUIPC on the FSX computer but nothing seems to make it display on the client/Showtext. Do I have to install RC on the client to make the displays work there? Maybe I am missing a key point in the RC manual or the Showtext document. Thanks for any help John

I use Ultimate Traffic 2, Super Traffic Board and Traffic X a lot.I keep reading about compatibility issues between voxATC and Ultimate Traffic2 on this forum. Some seem to have problems and others do not. Can anyone give me a definitive answer as to whether voxATC and Ultimate Traffic 2 are compatible with each other? Also, I use Nuance Naturally Speaking (Dragon) a lot for word processing, e-mail, etc. I wonder if there will be any compatibility issues between voxATC and Dragon?I sent an e-mail several days ago to the makers of voxATC asking about these issues and have yet to receive a reply.There is certainly a lot of information on this forum but I am a little concerned about the lack of an official support forum.Any input would be greatly appreciated.JohnMesa, Arizona

I have the same problem with them. I placed an order with them on August 2nd for a AeroSoft product. They immediately billed my credit card. I found that I have to go out of town next week and e-mailed them asking when it would ship so I would know about the approximate arrival date to alert my neighbor to look for it. I have sent them 4 e-mails now asking when and how they will ship. No response at all. My order status on line with them simply says pending. I am calling my credit card company this morning to dispute and cancel the charge. A pretty dismal way to do business.
