  1. It simply means this: at the 8:30 min marker. Instead of the usual pink circle, the newer buses have the green dot.
  2. Well if you reported this on the Aerosoft Forum, I would have tried to help you.... I don't want this thread to become a support thread. Hi Rob, I am not too sure what reference do you need ? PM me.
  3. You shouldn't normally be descending at Green Dot, it should be either your managed ECON speed or a selected speed. You fly green dot once you are ready to activate the approach phase. I think he meant vdev green dot.
  4. Wow. You do not have the product/have not flown it and you call it rubbish. Bravo. :clapping:
  5. Same. I have to say that the Real Dash 8 cockpit ergonomics are not as intuitive as say an airbus.
  6. I think there is some confusion over that instructions. To ONLY use FSUIPC for CALIBRATION: All you need to do is setup via standard P3D settings and then go to FSUIPC calibration menu and calibrate it. No other things needed. Unless you are not assigning via P3D standard assignment, then you use FSUIPC for AXIS assignment.
  7. Not going to comment on the promise thing, but its ridiculous to say that just because its four years old it wont go far. PMDG 737 NGX sure was more than 3 years old when the model/textures were first done, are you saying it didn't go far?
  8. The trouble that he was experiencing was indeed a bug related to NAT waypoint, it has been fixed for a while now in our internal builds and no other problems are found with NAT waypoints.
  9. Well its true the AXE is not polished up to a certain standard yet without SP1 and there is abit of fan-boy comment in that post Johnny made, the post Johnny was responding to is pure trolling, nothing else.
  10. Rob, check your PM. Dont want to bring this futher off topic.
  11. Sorry Rob, but I think this statement is a little baseless....
  12. He has successfully provoked me into replying another reply, so have you. Anyways, I will stop further comments here.
  13. Now that you say this, I will say this, Its awesome to see a troll come here accusing me of insulting people and laugh by himself.
  14. Guys. I think this topic gone wayyyyy off topic. This is meant to be about the BBS Airbus, not the AXE. I will formulate my reply to three groups of people here. Know that my replies aren't meant to be attacking anyone but meant to be civil. To people who haven't bought the AXE product: If you are thinking about buying either AXE or BBS, fine to discuss what you want here. Just Keep it civil and avoid bashing any developers (including BBS.) To people who have bought the AXE product and unhappy with it: I think we have made it clear its a product that is mid-range, with wide features and NOT an ADVANCED Simulation. Its meant to do MOST of the day to day things that is MOST COMMONLY used. For those who are experiencing big problems with bugs, bear with us, we are almost working 7 days a week to solve the bugs. Things are getting sorted slowly. Feel Free to comment on the bugs now, but don't bash/troll. Shame on whoever who misquoted my post and use it in a wrong context. "VNAV is meant to be basic and at the same time not so basic. I will describe more about this as we go on.". Note the last sentence. I haven't even describe more about it and you already start saying that we aren't capable of doing this, doing that. What does it goes to show? You are a troll and just one unhappy person in general. Simple. To the few who thinks we treat customers unprofessionally, you are one of the few exceptions who think so, we have lots of customers satisfied with support. No, this does NOT mean that we have done everything right about support but, take a deep breath and grab a beer, don't get all so worked up. Go back to the forum and we will try to assist you as best we can. If you are unhappy with the support on the forum, simply go the the support via email with your complains and they will hear you out. To those who think we ignore bugs, shame on you. You have no idea about how we work and thinking that any software is without bugs is a big big misconception. I used to think that if customers know that we are working hard to fix bugs that we did not encounter earlier on, they will wait patiently or at least not troll around. Well I am wrong. Finally, if you are unhappy about how we classify bugs in importance, think about it this way, LNAV loss more important or 300...400...300 more important? And what makes you so sure that the real airbus don't have the same problem? No proof, nothing. On what basis do I have to trust you? Now, know this is not to make anyone angry, but dont expect me to trust a stranger claiming to know what the real airbus does. To people who have bought the AXE product and happy with it: Enjoy your stay. If you like the product, praise it all you want. Be understanding though to people who have problems with the bus but don't bother with the trolls. This will be my only comment about this in this thread. I will not comment further here.
  15. Nope, I have already implemented it. Looks like you are not reading the forums well enough. Nope, but a cut of sacrasm would be good. Nope I am not worried, since this is my last project. Besides, the saying goes, you shouldnt satify a wants of a spoiled brat. and never was intended to be. I will stop futher commenting here, since its getting real off topic from the OP intended topic.
  16. I think I said enough here. Not true. Hint hint, read and use the search button on the aerosoft forum.
  17. Perhaps, but definitely I have seen praise, and that's what keep me going. Well I am glad you said that. How I wish every single person who "over"demand something read this. No matter how loud they are, some things wont come even if they shout it out. Well, most developers start with the passion and drive to always try to do that thing that others cant or, enjoy the sweet labor after completing what they done (say FBW for example) What stops most developers after is the same, piracy, lack of motivation due to certain very nasty non-deserved comments etc. Its tiring to deal with customers who think they have absolute rights, and threaten to sue this sue that, or threaten not to buy anything more from etc etc. End of story is, If you like the developer or want to encourage the developer, go ahead and write it on the forums to keep them going  (hint hint lol).
  18. Firstly, I dont know why you are saying I am not honest but, I say users for two reason. 1) There are people using pirated copies visiting our support forum 2) Customers are still users. They should never demand. You seem to have that same consumer mindset that customer is King. In this industry, developers are not very well respected to say the least. Just because your are a customer dont entitle you to being disrespectful or demand. Sure, you can feedback, you can enforce your opinion, but dont overdo it. We are all humans. You also seem to think that developing is very worth while. Why do you think I only mention drive and motivation? Because Money don't do enough to motivate. Theres not alot to be earned in this industry as developers. Selling more than a 100 000 copies is a dream come true. Lastly, I am not in this business just for money. This is certainly not my day job and developing is just my hobby. My lifeline don't depends on it. That's why I don't think the sacrifice as developers are worth it and hence you will only see a downward trend in the addon market if this goes on. With that said, the Airbus Extended is certainly one of my last few commercial projects. Since now I am in, I cant get out. So once I am done with this, I am done developing.
  19. At the end of the day, I will be honest here, that its the users that kills the developers drive to do a good addon. (too demanding people, demands for options, customization, no offense, this is just another one that kills any drive)
  20. lol, you can never make both sides happy. If you dont have the external modules, and theres nothing to fight piracy, the developer will not be the happy one and wont develop any more addons at a lost.
  21. Although I would agree that activation stuff should not be in the menus, but advanced animation DEFINETELY come from those external modules (moving jetways, for FSDT dynamic shadow, vehicle traffic and even HD textures needs an external module to force the HD setting to on). If you want just pretty 3D models, chances are you wont find any anymore. Just bear in mind that there are tons of others willing to accept those external modules for those advance animations.(and also there will never be separate options to disable those external modules as having separate options increases cost of support) Keeping it simple is quite the contrary for most of the people. (I speak from experience that people dont want too dumbed down airbus systems.)
  22. You seem to forget that this errors don't ever appear on Windows XP. So does that mean that Windows 7 is at fault? Based on your principal, that if you have no problem before installing it and after installing there's a problem, Windows 7 is at fault. So I should I blame Windows 7? (PS. I am biased to developers as I am a developer myself, so pardon me here) Hmm about leaving the menus alone, I would agree that cluttering the menus with activation stuff is not a good idea. However, if the menus alone allow on the fly changes to settings, I would gladly accept them. BUT, the matter of fact is many developers like FSDT use those programs for advanced animation and effects. To sum it up, why do you even choose to buy that scenery? The answer is most probably because its visually attractive and surpass the default by miles. However, the fact is that FSX has limitations Users are demanding more and more as time pass by so developers have to come up with advanced graphics and techniques, overcoming FSX limitations by using an external module to control things. Would you have bought that airport, if that airport does not have that external module AND also WAY less visually attractive? If your answer is yes, the end of story is that you probably wont need to spend another penny on addons anymore.
  23. As stubborn as you are, I have got this uianimationcore since day 1 with a clean FSX when I reinstalled Win 7. Many people also have that. Chances are, you installing the addon lead to increased usage of menus. (Bear in mind I am not saying that the addon is NOT the cause of it). However, insisting that its because of the addon but not trying to fix it is just wasting your money. If you are so insistent that you don't want to change anything, then go ahead. Then really, I see that you are just ranting here (nothings going to change even if you do so) if you are not looking for a solution.
  24. I so far have not had any problems with any applications after removing that dll.At least, thats in my experience. Your mileage may vary, but for standard daily to daily use, (Chrome,IE,winrar etc) they all work fine.
