  1. Steve - to follow up, here are a couple of screen shots from my system: That seems like a tricky to recreate given all the color and shape possibilities you'd have for representing reflections.
  2. Steve, I think the bottom is too dark as you suggest, even when airborne. The contrast between the wing root area and the rest of the fuselage disrupts the visual flow along the bottom of the jet from front to back.
  3. Or how many pairs of socks you have-two!
  4. Thanks for altering the light files, I like the brighter navs:
  5. Chris - your repaint is almost better than a belly dancer.
  6. You're talking Depression-Era wages (or less).
  7. For what it is worth, I use the Super King Air HD sound package from Turbine Sound Studios (TSS) with my Carenado C90 and like it much more than the stock Carenado C90 sounds. I have not compared real life sounds of the Super King Air to the C90, so if their are differences that may be a downside to the TSS sound package for those seeking more authentic C90 sounds.
  8. Neal, You may want to check out the King Air sound set from Turbine Sounds Studios - I replaced most of my Carenado C90 sound files with their Super King Air High Definition (FSX) package and really like the improvement. Pete
  9. Kevin, Thank you for all of the repaints you have made for the C90, they are excellent.
  10. Kevin, very nice repaint - thanks for creating it:
  11. Zsolt, I experienced the same phenomena some time ago in FSX (only the inverse of what you have pictured) while flying over Death Valley, California in the NGX. The "spikes" I saw were from ground level down, like a bottomless pit. On a subsequent flight I couldn't reproduce the problem. I thought it might be a memory issue, but I don't know for sure.
  12. Trevor, If it is a issue that can be remedied, could you add to the list the possibly of creating a more realistic slow down to stop of the props when the engines are shut down? And I'm experiencing the same distorted "500 feet" call that Bushido5 is hearing.
  13. Danny - I utilized Bojote's software and noticed an improvement in FSX and the NGX on my system.
  14. ....and departing KOWB: touch and go at KNOW: I second what Marty says.
  15. Daniel - you may want to familiarize yourself with FSX by experimenting with it's settings, open up the NGX config file and explore it's contents, or explore some other avenue...I think the issue is your inability to solve your perceived sound problem because you're not familiarized enough with FSX and the NGX.
