I've created a water runway in ADE, attached taxi points, parking etc. I then created an AI flight plan using the FSX Generic goose. From KLGB to L11 pebby beach (Avalon) My problem is that the goose will land, taxi and park just fine, but when it comes time to depart it just disappears. I've run the fault finder on ADE each time before I compile. And I do not get any errors compiling the Flight Plan. ie time issues or parking . Other things I've tried. Made sure there are starting points on the runway Lengthening the runway to 10,000 feet. makerwys I'm just lost as to why it will land and then not return. Thanks

Guys, I do this for a living. and I'm telling you that I have every single one of these sounds in my sound effects library at work. Or. .if I don't, then I can easily create it. Also, don't believe everything you SEE on youtube. Those things can be created too.

I was doing some custom designing on PMDY (Midway island) and totally messed up the stock .bgl of the island. it is APX00210.bgl in the Microsoft Flight Simulator X\scenery\0002\scenery folder Could someone toss it to me please. OR If there is a way to extract the file from the FSX disk without having to do a complete reinstall I would love to know how to do it. Thanks

Thanks! That pointed me in the right direction. It's now Aloha Air Cargo. (With a new Green/White paint scheme) It was just strange to see flightaware listing it as Aloha Airlines. BTW I found the AI paint for both Aloha Cargo and Air cargo in the file section too.

I was doing some AI flight plan creation and looking at flightaware. It lists two flights daily from PHKO to PHNL with Aloha Airlines as the carrier (737) http://flightaware.com/live/flight/AAH45/history/20130717/0922Z/PHKO/PHNL I thought they went under in 2008, and did not find an article about their reemergence. I can also vouch for the VirtualCDU app. I actually bought a samsung tablet (Android) to run it and I hope they develop more apps. It really helps. With the tablet I now run a host of things that are now off my main computer. LIVE/ATC for Chatter. Bluesky radio. FSX KNeeboard apps, And the CDU. I really think apps like this will open a whole new market for Flight Sim.

Yes.. my bad should be PRCH9. Hopefully the AIRAC upgrade will help. Also, Jim, to ask another question. I've read you have flown out of KLAX. Do you not find the ATC instructions unrealistic with actual procedures? IE: "Contact tower when you are at holding point...." "Contact departure when airborne", And the Captain responding with "QNH"? I've listened to many hours of LIVE ATC at KLAX and the ops there seem to be drastically different.

Is there a way to ask for a different SID? As an example, I have made my flightplan for KLAX to KLAS via DAG and It continually assigns me the PRCH1 SID out of LAX instead of the normal LOOP6. I know you said the SID/STARS are weather based, but that's really only for runway assignment right?

Yes, it works that way too for Win 7. I guess I should have been clearer by saying that whenever RC is started it will go to the device listed as the default. Hard to do without pictures but try this.Bottom right of screen. Right Click on the speaker Icon.Select Playback devicesLook for your USB headphones in the list. Note, it might have a speaker icon next to it, instead of headphones.If you see it, click on it, and then click on Set default.Hope this works.

Radar Contact sends it's sound through whatever audio device is selected in Windows as the default. Before starting FSX and RC make your headphones the default device. Start them, and RCv4 should now be sent through your headphones.

Hi Guys, I know this topic is rather old. (about a month) But I wanted to jump in here to clear up any misconceptions regarding Flight Sim Voices. U.S. Flight Crew Vol1. Actually, it's meant to be this way. Hopefully in the near future, when there are are more languages and dialects, you'll have all the Callsigns in Radar Contact represented by the actual pilots that fly them. (An American in a Korean Airlines 747?) I made the decision to offer only American voices with American callsigns, to help keep the recording costs down and since the ultimate goal was to have the same voice in Radar Contact as in FDC or FS Passengers if you were using both. No there are no ATC replacements. Only Pilots. I think that is great you purchased RCv4 . It's a great product!

I was going to post what Ronzie posted about the line, eagleflight,eagleflight,American Eagle Airlines Inc - USA,0, 0 It's the same in my c4 file. Have you tried it in debug mode to see why RC is grabbing the "american" wav file? Sorry can't be more help.

Not quite sure about Traffic II but most likely the problem lies in the aircraft.cfg file for the AI plane. there's a line under the corresponding [fltsim.X] (pertaining to the paint used) ATC_AIRLINE= It should read =eagleflight

The buttkicker is not a speaker at all. It's a vibration machine (careful now) that hooks underneath your chair and uses the LF channels to drive it.Sort of like the force feedback on ps3 joysticks only on steroids. You can still use the buttkicker if you have on headphones.

Another option not entirely unheard of is USB flash drives. With pro audio software, we have ILOKS which stores a key to allow the program to run. I could see Microsoft utilizing this form of packaging.
