1. Hi! Make sure you have the latest version of EFB. I had this problem sometimes with the previous build. I hope it helps.
2. Thanks for those great links! There's also this panoramic for the 380: http://viewat.org/?id_pn=2887∨=vt&sec=pn&subsec=rc
3. What I like about EFB is that you can generate a route with RouteFinder directly inside the app. You enter departure and arrival airports and a few parameters and it generates a route for you. Then you click OK and EFB will load that route from RouteFinder. Then you can activate that route and you're pretty much ready to fly (on the EFB side). That route you just got from RouteFinder: you can export it to rt2 format and use it as a company route in PMDG planes. You can also export it to FSX flight plan format and load it using the FSX flight planner. I don't know if it is immediately available from the GARMIN GPS, but I'm pretty sure it is.Hope it helps!
4. Hi!I am trying the demo as well. I am tired of having charts, maps and checklists in paper all over my desk. I considered other EFB programs but all they did was display pdf charts in fsx. If I'm not mistaken, this one generates them. I like the ability to preview sid or star selection. I also like the fact that you can import a route from a fsx flight plan, online route generator, etc and export them to PMDG or FSX format.I have 2 monitors so I display the EFB on my second monitor and I made sure the sim doesn't pause when the FSX window loses focus. Apart from displaying charts and maps it can also be used for checklists and to display METAR info.Sure, 75$ is a lot of money. I recommend to anyone to try the software before buying as all the features are available for 30 days.I don't recall having much trouble with the install and configuration. Takes some time though as there are lots of parameters. What are you having trouble with?
5. He posted this in the PMDG forum because he wants to know if PMDG will develop addons for it. If they know more about Flight, then they are probably (as Shane mentioned) under NDA. Also: I guess a decent user base would be required for them to consider developing addons for Flight. So basically, it's too soon to get an answer.
6. 1. Maybe you could fit a smaller SSD into the 100$ budget or extend it a little bit and get a 60-80GB one. If you don't have too many addons you could install Windows and FSX on it. Otherwise, you could buy a new hard drive. They are getting a little bit faster with time. I'm pretty satisfied with my Western Digital Black series in my secondary computer.2. There is no benefit to SLI for FSX. For the time being if budget is a concern I would keep the GTX and later on upgrade to a GTX 560TI ou 570. In the meantime, you might not be able to use maximum texture resolution for the newer addons but you'll still be able to play FSX with decent framerate using that CPU.
7. The best option is to go with a SSD for Windows and most used applications and a regular Hard drive for the rest.If you're on a smaller budget you can buy a smaller SSD (60-80GB) but it is SO fast! I think it's worth the price. Also, make sure you buy a good one. There are some cheap ones right now but they don't offer the same performance.
8. Hi!The Sabertooth seems to have 2 more USB ports and 2 more SATA 3 ports and support for higher frequency RAM (which costs more and offer marginally better results). And it looks so cool. But I don't think it's worth the cost difference.Personally, I would go with the PRO as it offers all the features I need and is cheaper.
9. I personally don't think it's possible to futureproof a PC. I made the mistake once in my life and don't want to do the same again. I once paid 620$ for the Top of the line 8800 Ultra and 3 months later, they released the 8800GTS 512MB which had close performance for 3 times less the cost.So now, instead of paying big bucks to get the top of the line PC and hope it lasts say 4 years, I get parts that offer maybe 10-15% less performance but update it every two years. If you want to buy the best of the best, then by all means, go for it. Just make sure you try to pricematch everything cause here, I can get a GTX 570 for 300$ and a GTX 560 Ti for 200$ with the current promotion.
10. I don't know if HT is really useful for FSX. I searched a bit on google and there were all kind of opinions. But what I do know is that I was not ready to pay 50% more for it and a 100Mhz frequency difference (2500K is ~200$ and 2600K is ~300$). As for the P67 motherboard, I love my Asus P8P67 Pro. But I love Gigabyte too. If you can get a bundle deal go for it. In the end, the features on those boards are usually the same. Some are geared for the enthousiast in mind with support with very high frequency RAM. Just to be safe, you can also check compatibility with your existing RAM sticks. A new cooler (although somewhat very basic) will be provided with your new CPU. If you plan on overclocking, you should definitely get a new one. I think the best is to search on google for CPU coolers comparisons, roundup and reviews as there are new models all the time.Edit: One thing you should check with the motherboard you buy is SLI and Crossfire support if you plan on going that route. Edit 2: I like this site for reviews. Maybe you can check it out for coolers: http://www.hardwarec...views/cooling/. They also have the Sandy Bridge CPU and Motherboard reviews in their respective sections.
11. Hi! I currently have a Sandy Bridge build and I can vouch for it. It's really amazing for that price point. I got the 2500K. The K basically means that it's unlocked for overclocking. It only costs a few bucks more than the regular version and it's well worth the difference. If you don't know too much about that stuff you can leave it to the automatic tuning utility of many of those Sandy Bridge to help you out to get the most out of your Sandy Bridge CPU. As for the i5 and i7 names, they are basically just there to sort out the features of the CPU. If I'm not mistaken, i7 CPUs have hyperthreading. You will likely need to upgrade your memory as well. As for the power supply, you're probably going to be OK with it, as long as you stay with the same video card.
12. Since the product is not finished, it's a little early to know the definitive requirements. I believe we can expect something along the lines of the requirements for the MD11.
13. Hi!"Electronic Shipping Info Received" usually simply means that the carrier has been informed of a package to collect and deliver. Then, they come pick the package and deliver it.

For those who have a tracking number and don't know how to track your package: Package tracker does a great job of finding the proper carrier according to your tracking number and sends you updates by email if you want. They also have a widget for windows Vista/7.

Edit: sorry. Forgot to post the address: http://www.packagetrackr.com/
