  1. Deleting the generated files (there is a command in the Prepar3D directory). This let Prepar3D.exe rebuild the sim in vanilla state. To even use less force, you could only delete prepar3d.cfg file, which will be rebuilt on next start and also has the effect to reset everything from the sim. But if you have bad visuals on a fresh setup, it must be something not setup correctly for the gpu/monitor. There we have the tools from the gpu vendor, NVIDA Control panel e.g. or gpu-z, to check your gpu settings on the hardware side. Also Windows has many options to repair the system, which are easier than a full reinstall, formatting drives and such nuclear options.
  2. I use the same values with my i13900K, so this is the same setting for Hyperthreading ON, I got from Steve's advice here. I switched HT on due to Steve's Affinity Mask recommendation, which are all with HT on. Before I believed HT must be off, which was true for years. But with the new cpu's and P3D5 things may have changed. It runs pretty good on my side with these settings. Do you use a XMP mode for your RAM? That can give you a lot of power. GPU In the BIOS, did you set resizable bar true? Depending on your Motherboard, settings can be a little hidden. Next point is the pci settings. Check with GPU-Z. You can also see, if resizable bar is enabled. In the "Bus Interface" you see "PCIe-16x4.0 @ x16 1.1. This should be the same for your card, especially the x16. The 1.1 value is during idle. Hitting the ? will start render mode to see the value under load. Then it should be 4.0. You may want to show us a screenshot of your gpu-z screen. Dan
  3. There are easier ways to set the sim to defaults, but it's your time and effort.
  4. Great you could solve it. Don't know if HT can be switched off outside the BIOS but good you could solve it by re-enabling it.
  5. Can also happen, if you apply a AM setting for Hyperthreading active but CPU is configured with Hyperthreading off.
  6. Remember the last thing you added to the simulator. That may be not compatible or corrupted.
  7. Not so sure about that. I have not issues with AS A330 or PMDG 747. So as said, I don't have the iFly but can not imagine, what could be worse with regards to textures than the AS products. I just realised, when installing dynamic light in Tropicalsim SBGL, I had to remove some textures for the original night lighting. I thought you shold check the procedures for installing the iniBuild dynlights again, maybe you missed to remove a file. Also I suggest to reinstall the iniBuild dynlights library again, if you haven't done so recently.

  9. That should be enough to load all textures even with the complex planes. Unfortunately I don't have the iFly, so I try with one with heavy textures.
  10. If it's aircraft related, I wonder what's your gpu, how much VRAM you have and maybe VRAM using settings need some adjustments. I quickly looked at RCTP and RPLL, which both have the iniBuilds dynamic light and I had no ground flickering, texture going off and on. But I have to test with a heavy sim aircraft like PMDG or AS A320. I use a RTX 3090 with 24 GB.
  11. You may want to try the dynamic light mod from iniBuilds https://forum.inibuilds.com/files/file/657-pacsim-taipei/
  12. I thought, they may take it from the market for a while before giving it away for free without support. But then, all their P3D products were taken out of the market. Special, this was a pretty new scenery. Maybe that's a new marketing strategy to make people switch simulator or buying the other stuff before it's taken out of the sale. Certainly both not acceptable for me.
  13. What happened to MKStudios Dublin? It's no longer available to buy, although ORBX even has a black friday price on it. Did they announce something apart from, we have now the new version for the other sim? Does somebody use the Aerosoft Dublin in P3D5? How is it? Are there other, not very known alternatives for Dublin?
  14. I have a lot of addons too, but I don't have any, that forces me to use settings on this way. The addons doing it have their configuration programs and there they recommend a setting and you get it with a click but outside of this config program nothing is happening. Check MESH_RESOLUTION= in your prepar3d.cfg I have a value of 24, which is 2m. Try changing it in the cfg file. That may solve the problem.
  15. Sounds like different meshes fighting each other. Maybe also wrong altitude for P3D5. They say it's not fully tested, whatever that means. I also think about layering. Is it on top of everything? No idea why you can't change the slider. Must be blocked somewhere, maybe in prepar3d.cfg? Did you google this problem? I saw back in 2017 was a problem with P3D3 not saving settings. Reinstall the client maybe fixes this. I can change to any setting I want.
  16. How does this look, with "wrong" mesh settings? I only have other sceneries of FSCGAA and use higher mesh resolutions without problem. It is certainly a problem to use lower settings, but higher does not have the same effect like lower. However, with ENAS e.g., I had also a mesh problem. It was like a giant square flatten, to low for the airport cutting the mountains around. I discoverd this was caused by mesh from Aerosoft Longyear X, which is not that close but still in the neighbourhood. ENAS contains mesh for a larger area including Longyear, so I could disable the Aersoft Longyear mesh and Longyear X still is fine. Maybe you also have another mesh interfering with BGAA. Dan
  17. You need to update the Ops Center, as i wrote before.
  18. Well me too was excited to read Imaginesim improved a product and we can even get it for free. Alone this should have told everyone, this can't be true, see their upgrade of WSSS.
  19. It's difficult to find. Go into the webshop, select Prepar3D v6 and you see the only product. Select it to read the first description. Then click on description, to see more details. There is written how to get the v6 version free. I installed the latest version of the imaginesim operations center. Only then I got the Prepar3D v6 folder and could download the installer. Installation with your v5 order number and e-mail then used.
  20. I tried and saw, it is the same version number. The v5 version also has pbr, dynamic lights etc. There should not be any difference. It is possible upon installing new to select different options and then getting the impression, it has changed. For me trying this I came to the conclusion it's the same as before. Imaginesim may have altered it a bit for specific needs of v6 but they did not improve it, if it remains on the same version number. Maybe they only changed the installer to sell it to new customers using v6.
  21. This is nonsense to use the v6 scenery on v5 . The v5 installer has the exact same version of the scenery. So there is no gain using the v6 scenery in v5. There is only a chance risking problems with different requirements in v6 which v5 can't handle, e.g. altitude differences like were from v4 to v5.
  22. I use Notepad++ for all cfg files for years now. Notepad++
  23. Podgorica is a scenery i have seen more than a year ago. In Simmarket it's listed as availabe since 21-10-2023. A little more than a week now but I have seen the farmer traktors on the airfield before. So this scenery has been there before maybe for FSX. I got it before and there are no obvious bugs now. I reworked the afcad a bit since there were only GA parkings and the traffic did not park at the terminal but close to the static mil jets. But no bleed through here and no jetway problems, since it doesn't have 😉
  24. ...would be a working scenery. That includes testing and only selling it, if it works. And Cloud9 i have seen with FSDreamteam since years. So either he is in business for years or this guy has now a problem with his brand name.
  25. From a developer i expect a bit more than trying to make it work. The scenery is nice when fixed. I think Cloud9 is a developer good in 3D building, but not in the rest. I'm not sure weather the scenery is only the airport, or also the city. It looks pretty default to me but this could be because of the used buildings. The road matches the buildings well. So looks pretty organised. Don't know either, if I should get Podgorica. There will be another fixing session.
